There are plenty who would be happy to work on common sense restrictions. We are held hostage on this point by some leaders on the right. Frankly I suspect their constituents would support it but the leaders don’t have the courage.

People had the opportunity to vote for a prosecutor and instead they stayed home, or voted for a criminal who said he’d be a dictator on Day One. Well, we’ll see. I know the white supremacists and the Russians are happy, so at least someone is pleased.
