Re: Iron Man (Tony Start) - Design phase
So here is where we landed.
Second power is up for debate. There was speak of getting something of a personality in here. Also Class change to Leader was brought up to allow for a different Illuminati Tony Complete with Comic Creator, Blurb, and figure info for you Bats ![]() Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: Iron Man (Tony Start) - Design phase
You have a double period at the end of the first power. Extra space before the bullets in the 3rd. And at one point Bats was trying to have each blurb end with a "!" for at least the Avengers in the Starter Deck. Not sure if he was wanting that for all Starter Deck cards, or all cards in total.
I do think the Illuminati should have it's own specific Iron Man card rather than try to use the Avengers one. Reed/Black Bolt/Prof X/Namor all have their own cards at this point and don't use a card from a different faction. |

Re: Iron Man (Tony Start) - Design phase
You need the recruitment verbiage in there.
I'm likely to just use this version for Illuminati builds unless there's a take for an Illuminati version that too will be a bonding leader for the faction that is more fitting and more effective for them. This one brings reliability, so it should be good enough until that potential day comes. |

Re: Iron Man (Tony Start) - Design phase
Arkham brings up an interesting point. You can always just draft this Iron Man with no other Avenger's cards and/or limit your recruits. Can you even choose not to recruit a support figure and avoid having to use them because they aren't an Avenger?
Just an example trying to figure out how it would work in action. Iron Man 270 + Hasbro Hulk 370 + Hasbro Thanos 360 = 1000 OM1: Hulk & Thanos OM2: Iron Man & Thanos (or Hulk) OM3: Hulk & Thanos again since everyone has been used once? |

Re: Iron Man (Tony Start) - Design phase
The requirement that at least one has to be one you haven't activated yet this round doesn't lift just because you don't have options to fill that requirement. If there are no figures you haven't activated yet, there are no figures you can activate with the ability.
The first ability need both the recruitment language and something to cut off additional turns (your turn ends type language works). The third bullet point of the last ability should probably go with damage die. I'd say adjacent to the defender also, because unless they're actually defending the attack, the splash damage doesn't happen, I believe. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Dang copy-paste error. I’ll get that later. Phone posting today.
Tony Start was a pun. Wasn’t expecting this one to be quick. ![]() Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

As for the 3rd bullet point, I believe a discussion came up somewhere else about figures that move when attacked. Last edited by Yodaking; February 23rd, 2023 at 03:37 PM. |

AVENGERS UNITED
If there is at least 1 Order Marker on this card, instead of an ordered activation with a Unique Hero in the Avengers faction, you may activate up to 2 Unique Heroes in the Avengers faction. Figures can only be chosen for this ability once per round. |

Re: Iron Man (Tony Start) - Design phase
That’s not the intent. You can activate a figure more than once, so long as at least one figure you are activating is being activated for the first time.
Maybe we should let him activate one no matter what and a second only if it’s being activated for the first time? Very close effect and probably easier to parse. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Iron Man (Tony Start) - Design phase
I favor going back to the once per round, 3 Avengers get activated ability and see if that can hit the 270 price point. That ability is really good and this take is more complex than it's worth IMO.
