I'd probably call it the planning "phase" to better match how it's worded in the rulebook. Technically you could also just say after rolling for initiative since that's the last bit of the planning phase. Either works. I suppose if you want to make sure it's after all things that might trigger on initiative rolls, this method is better.

Under Ninja Fury I might say "for each wound Raphael has." Similar in length, but I like getting away from referring to the game pieces where we can. Might just be a personal aesthetic, though.
