I don't think there are any real mechanical changes here other than classing him as King. Could see doing some sanity tests for that class change, but otherwise seems pretty straightforward.

I'm pretty new to the Synergies and Strategies section so any corrections or advice there would be appreciated.

See your GL thread for more details, but no Outgoing Synergy here so nothing goes in the first synergies area. Only other strategy/tip I would consider mentioning relates to units like Ozy & Loki that give you an extra OM to burn for powers.

I know this came up a lot originally but how does the new wording for Release the Kraken pair with the "attack any and all" in the first. power.

Is an "attack action" one of those attacks and Attack Phase = the whole process of those attacks?

Good call. I believe Release the Kraken is intended to replace a single attack, not an attack action, so I'll adjust that.

There was discussion of lowering RtK roll to 14 or higher as that's a common number in the JL faction. Super minor so I can't imagine that's necessary of testing.

And there was also talk of point value adjustments. I don't know what all is in play, or if those are still a thing that some are pushing for, but if so, it'd be ideal to not have MM II, Aquaman, and Fate at 370. So I'd see what's worth dialing to get us to where there's no repeats if possible?

Fwiw, I think Fate could cost more and still be viable, so he's an easy candidate for a tweak. I haven't laid out all the costs and looked at them, but that's probably a useful exercise.

Between the King thing and the 14+ thing (which is cool by me) I could see doing some sanity testing here, but nothing extensive, and probably just something I'll run myself in a few days.

Not as familiar with what the JL Starter Deck plan has become, but wouldn't having some repeat point values make it easier to build multiple different 1000 point JL teams from the single starter deck?

That's the counterargument. I think the question is whether to prioritize builds in the starter deck or the bigger picture flexibility and playability of stuff. I do think that Fate dominates the 370 slot a bit, so I wouldn't mind moving some stuff around here and there. Going to tentatively go 360 here.

Do people think the starter deck is the endpoint for the large majority of end users? If so, then I'd say sure, build around the starter deck. If not, and we think most users will adapt more as we produce more, I'd say the bigger picture is what we should be focusing on as that's what we're going to be living with as time goes on, and the starter deck won't really matter.

More foresight and planning for the future is absolutely something I think is essential with this reboot of sorts, to avoid the same missteps as before.

I definitely think a large advantage of this reboot is to be able to come in with a 10,000 card view from the get go.

OK, just because there are a few changes here, I'd like to do some light testing, after which if things look good, I'll probably be happy to move right to final editing.
