Do we want to keep the “start the game with the card flipped to this side” wording from 1.0? Also wondering if it’s worth making a Celebrity keyword.

There was some talk about making it such that he could only use the Flame On power at the start of the move action, rather than walking up to someone and then flying away mid-move action. I've always played it that he had to start engaged to use the power, but it's been pointed out you could loop hole that.

As for the wording question, I think that is something we could slip into the rule book. Flip cards never start on the side without a point cost showing. Then if you wanted it to be optional which side to start the game on, have the points listed on both sides. |

Taking a stab at the wording.
FLAME ON 4 At the start of a Move Action, if Human Torch chooses to fly, immediately after any Swipes, you may roll the d20 against each figure engaged with Human Torch without Heat Resistance. If you roll 4+, that figure receives 2 wounds. Added in the 'may' clause, as I don't think it was ever intended to be something that was hitting Sue/Reed/Ben while in the SZ. I know you could walk one space away from then and then fly, but just in case you need to fly the full move action for some reason while next to your allies and no foes. |

Does this card really need to be a flip card? Seems unnecessary to me as its never been an issue in 1.0. If we really wanted it to be a flip card and be thematic, on side B his move should be 5, Attack and Defense should be 3.

I was also thinking he could have more changes after the flip now that we are not limited by text space.

Invisible woman is still a 4 when negated so 4 doesn't seem too bad but dropping his A/D is worth discussing for sure. Yeah, I could see making his stats 5/5/1/3/3 or someting like that on the B Side. He’s mostly around as a Thing wound battery at that point anyways.
I think the idea is that we’re more moving towards flip cards just being a common way to represent a card that has 2 distinct “states.” Like I’d be super into porting Solid Snake over to a flip card as well. |
