Steve's last name doesn't have a 'd' in it.

I'd go with "have +1 Attack and Defense" over "add 1 die to.."

Any use for a Super Soldier keyword? Could be used on Winter Soldier and Red Guardian.

Oh, don't think it occurred to me before, but could we give him the Valiant personality? I think he makes sense there and like... if we ever wanted to do more with Uncle Sam and the Patriotic stuff, I wouldn't mind having a dedicated Cap for that vs using the Avengers faction one.

Okay, trying my hand at getting one of these conversions officially done. CA doesn't appear to need any testing and will be a great one to have in the bank once we do start needing to test 2.0 cards.

I've made a few edits to what Bat's last posted, so do please review once more and sign off on the wording here.

I named the release the C3G 2.0 Starter Deck, let me know if that doesn't work.

Only listed one of the two figure options mentioned in the 1.0 thread. Since it's only recommended now, I wasn't sure we needed to list every different name it's sold under.

Filled in the Synergies names as I thought they would appear. Nothing to link to at the moment, but will update that once we get to that point. Not sure if we should include stuff like Human Solider if it's not going to be in the Starter Deck. Just don't want to forget about it later and it's a tag listed in the 1.0 thread.

Filled in the Strategies/Tips with something I thought was useful.

Not sure what the plan is with the Credits section. I linked the 1.0 thread, but that is it. Is the play testing part just for 2.0 testing, if any is done? Assuming card art is in reference to the new cards as well. Where do I find the official comic creator credit information? I'm guessing Stan Lee had a hand in this one, but I didn't want to leave someone else (Jack Kirby?) out if it was a collaborative effort.

Separate post for this discussion as it doesn't relate to the new format/process for 2.0.

Wanted to reopen the discussion on adding in a range limit before closing the door for good here. I know some of you only play the game one way, but some of us do play the game in multiple ways. One such way involves massively large maps representing city blocks or other huge landscapes. When playing those epic scale games, unlimited range on powers does become a game balance concern so I'd like to see us include range limits on most (if not all) powers as we update cards for 2.0. Thus I'd once more like to broach the idea of incorporating some kind of range limit for the bonuses being granted. It wouldn't impact the points here, and can even be pretty far, I just don't vibe with the idea he can inspire someone 100 clear spaces away from him. 10 spaces seems to work fairly well for Professor X, but I would also be fine with going bigger (15 or 20?) than that here to keep the spirit of the power more intact.

Not sure there. I don't think it was brought up before. I don't have a problem with adding it in, just in case, but I know others don't like to clutter up a card with 'maybe' future synergy.

I do like having the Uncle Sam/Capt. America team up. I could be okay if that isn't also an Avengers Team up though. So I'm on the fence there.

I’ll say I like keeping Patriotic around in some form. I guess I could be a Keyword? Don’t love the idea of ditching it entirely.

I’ve softened on the space restriction thing. I mostly just don’t want the annoyance of “Oh, this figure is actually 11 spaces away from Cap, so screw you and your plans.” Do we think we could do something large like 12 spaces? So he’s not inspiring people two blocks away, but it’s also not going to come up on many maps.

Fine with going Valiant here. Wouldn’t mind seeing Patriotic go the keyword route. I’m OK with a 12-20 space range restriction.
