Wording and Science as a keyword.

Main discussion is Rubber Wrap and deciding what we want it to stop and what we don't and how to word it so that it accomplishes that

Brilliant personality feels like a bit of a triple-dip for a Scientist with the Science keyword, but not something I'd make a fuss about.

Streamlining FL4 a bit:

FANTASTIC LEADER 4
Before an ordered activation with Mister Fantastic, you may roll a d20. If you roll:
• 4-11, activate one Adventurer Hero;
• 12-17, activate up to two Adventurer Heroes; or
• 18 or higher, activate up to three Adventurer Heroes.

I imagine other folks will be more opinionated on what kinds of moves Reed should be able to stop. I'd advise trimming the fat at the end of the power whatever we do though:

Small or medium enemy figures adjacent to Mister Fantastic may not move or be moved by any ability.

I did find an interesting personality labeling and saw Reed was ENTJ

Intuitive came to mind if we wanted to go away from Brilliant.

Agreed with Ronin's edits, that last bit on Rubber Wrap stood out to me.

We do have some minor Brilliant synergies, FWIW. Might switch those over to something else in 2.0, of course.

Edit - Also, Rubber Wrap and Stuck (from Blob & Tar Pit) are the same power in 1.0 right now. Do we want to consolidate those into a single name?

Inquisitive or Obsessive would be the other personalities worth considering, IMO.

For Rubber Wrap, it's a mechanical change, but I really wouldn't mind doing something like this:

RUBBER WRAP
Small or medium enemy figures adjacent to Mister Fantastic may not make move actions.

That way they couldn't use normal moves, special moves, or maneuvers to get away from him, but throw/place abilities could get them away (which opens up teleportation as an out).

Teleportation is the big one I think deserves it.

Personally I wouldn't make that change for Reed's - letting teleports through is a big nerf to the design given how much a FF build relies on him being able to block for Sue.

(Blob could use a nerf anyway, so sure, full speed ahead on letting teleports get away from that guy)

Yeah, maybe that's a better change to make on Blob's to help with differentiation. Theoretically Reed could have planned for such strategies more effectively anyhow.

So leave Rubber Wrap as you posted it and change Stuck to something like what Bat's has above?

Inquisitive or like…Distracted could be cool and say a little something more about the character. As Marvel’s #1 smarty man though, if a design should ever keep Brilliant it’s probably this one?

Something I’ve wondered before…does Reed need Super Strength?
