Invisible Woman (Sue Storm)

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. Last edited by japes; August 17th, 2023 at 02:34 PM. |

Re: Invisible Woman (Susan Richards)
So other than wording it looks like we are defaulting her to 4 defense and taking herself out of the aura.
Also keywords and Symbols we aren't adding to "defensive dice" or are we? questioning that wording. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

FANTASTIC FORCE FIELD 4
I'd go more like: Quote:
The "allied and enemy" distinction is trying to rule out her moving through objects? Seems like a good goal, invisibility shouldn't let you get through a castle door or whatever. I'd be tempted to go: Quote:

Re: Invisible Woman (Susan Richards)
Oh, I think the personality is worth considering here: Merciful doesn't stick out as a problematic one, but we should do our due diligence and make sure we have an idea of how widely-used it'll be.
And as one last little thing, I'd actually go Sue Storm for the SI over Susan Richards. I get that Richards is period-accurate but Sue Storm is still the name that still sees use in a modern context, and tracks for every era of the character. |

EDIT: I actually already had Sue Storm in the OP at the top. ![]() Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. Last edited by japes; November 12th, 2022 at 06:08 PM. |

Re: Invisible Woman (Susan Richards)
Totally agreed on Sue Storm. I like the second wording that Ronin posted, much more concise and more intuitive for me.
There are 4 uses of Merciful right now: Jean Grey, Invisible Woman, Angel, and Jade. Seems okay to reuse in that context unless we'd like to consolidate into another personality. |

Re: Invisible Woman (Sue Storm)
I really like the all-in-one format of the OP here and am excited about getting that aspect down in 2.0. Nice work, japes!
Catching up on the rest of the comments, but wanted to get that out first. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

B (nice work on that, Ronin)
yea I'm into Characters as a term and need to remember to add it to the glossary at some point. For personality, the other two that might be worth considering (and they have similarly short lists) are Benevolent and Compassionate. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Invisible Woman (Sue Storm)
Oh I like Compassionate! That scans better than Merciful to me. Merciful is more I want to strike you down but I'm choosing not to at this moment in my mind. compassionate though seems like a much better fit. I guess we need to look at what other figures are in those three personalities. at least one can probably be dropped. I could see an argument for keeping compassionate and either merciful or benevolent but not both of those.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: Invisible Woman (Sue Storm)
Some personality breakdowns:
Benevolent Red Tornado Martian Manhunter (JL-I) Martian Manhunter (JL-II) Mantis Gali Compassionate Dove Indigo Lantern (Uncommon) Indigo Lantern (Ray Palmer) Indigo-1 Indigo-2 Merciful Jade Angel Jean Grey Selfless Jocasta Guardian of the Universe (Sayd) Judge Hershey Spider-Army Recruit (Uncommon) (threw in Selfless, because I figure she usually puts the needs of the family over her own). C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
