Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
NAME = ELEVATOR CAR
UNCOMMON VEHICLE SIZE/HEIGHT = HUGE 12 FULL COVER LIFE = 4 MOVE = 3 DEFENSE = 6 OCCUPANCY = 4 ELEVATOR OPERATION The Elevator Car can only move on and occupy elevator shaft spaces, all of which must be in the same elevator shaft. When moving with the Elevator Car, you may move it onto elevator shaft spaces directly above or below it at a cost of one movement space per floor. If the Elevator Car’s Driver space is unoccupied, then instead of moving a figure you control that is adjacent to any Elevator Shaft space for that Elevator Car, you may move the Elevator Car. If the Elevator Car would be moved by a special power on any other Army Card or Glyph, it instead receives one wound. BROKEN DOWN If the Elevator Car has two or more wounds, it cannot move. PLUMMETING ELEVATOR If the Elevator Car would be destroyed, instead of removing it from the battlefield, place it on empty elevator shaft spaces on the lowest possible floor of its elevator shaft. The Elevator Car cannot move for the remainder of the game. Any figure occupying the Elevator Car immediately rolls for any falling damage that would apply and, if they are not destroyed, must be placed on Floor spaces within one space of the Elevator Car and on the same Floor. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
@Tornado
when you have a chance (no hurries) I'd love an isolated picture of the elevator doors that printed out correctly form my test (it was the bottom left one in the picture where you posted three). Or, possibly, a picture with multiples of them for easier printing.

A page full of medium size? Sure.
Forgot to download brick wall art so I am free tonight. ![]() I may try adding 'flaps' to the side that you fold in. I did that with mine and it gives it a little more dimension and helps to fill in the gap along the wall. |

Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
Sounds good! I want to get it "mounted" on a cardboard backing to take mini pics (unless you want to just grab pics of what you've got?).
I figured this one is low hanging fruit that we can hopefully wrap up fast to reduce overall bandwidth here. ![]() C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
Was still hoping we could get a posterboard "box" as the official figure for the card, since this could be a nice option for people with little to no terrain having them need a castle wall for the elevator could be a turn off. But the walls do make a nice proxy for those of us with extra.

Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
Ah, I was thinking you all just wanted the print out on a square piece of cardboard. I'm cool with a "box" but would need someone craftier to take the reigns on the construction and tutorial.

Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
Heh that is what I wanted to say. do not see how you could actually use the castle walls and still mark what floor the elevator is on, at least not with an upside down two-hexer. I suppose you could use a wound marker or something else small or just write it down or something.
I did essentially what you are saying tickle except mine is three sided. Could complete the box though. A cloud can change its semblance, yet retain its will With the intimacy of destruction, One knows what it is to be alive The empty sky holds no reflection, for sorrow - Eslo Rudkey |

Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
I used the castle walls as the elevator car, so it was the very thing marking the floor. You'd just have to reach it in and move it to the next floor, etc. So I was using it instead of the upside down two-hexer.

Re: The Book of Elevator - Final Editing
3 sided works too since it’s always up against a wall. I think Bats was planning to use 2 castle wall pieces and move them from floor to floor.
Did you wanna try to put together a simple tutorial for your 3-sided version, Tornado? Edit: Bat ![]() |
