The Book of Livewire (Amanda McKee)
The Book of Livewire (Amanda McKee) C3G VALIANT SUPER SECRET EXCLUSIVE 71 VALIANT UNITY ![]() Comic PDF ![]() Mini PDF The figure used for this unit is a modified Heroclix figure from the Galactic Guardians set. Its model number and name are #004 / Skrull Rebel or #202 / Skrull Assassin. Repaint Tutorial _________________________________________________________________ Character Bio - Amanda McKee was orphaned at a young age before being taken in by billionaire Harbinger Foundation founder, Toyo Harada. An incredible technopath, she grew up devoted to his life's mission, until the arrival of Peter Stanchek. While she believed in Harada, she knew he needed a counterbalance, and helped Peter escape Harada's control. Months later, the arrival of Aric of Dacia (X-O Manowar) on Earth led to the formation of the Unity team (Unit-Y), including Livewire and Harada. After bonding with and taking control of Aric's armor temporarily, Livewire learned the truth of Harada's evils. With the armor having increased her powers even more, she now had access to all Harada's secrets. She turned the Unity team against her former mentor, now leaving the foundation completely behind. Modeling her new suit after Aric's armor, she has increased ability to control electrostatic energy thanks to her technopathy, and can even use this to generate flight in her suit. Her link with the armor increased the range and strength of her abilities, now allowing her to interface with and control machines at a much greater distance. _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
NAME = LIVEWIRE
SECRET IDENTITY = AMANDA MCKEE SPECIES = PSIOT UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = LEADER PERSONALITY = DISCIPLINED SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 4 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 5 ATTACK = 4 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 230 UNITY STRIKES After revealing a numbered Order Marker on this card or the card of a Unique Hero you control within 10 spaces of Livewire and taking a turn with that Hero, you may either: • attack with a different Unique Hero you control that has moved but not attacked this player turn; or • reveal an "X" Order Marker on the Army Card of a Unique Hero you control to move any figure you control within 4 spaces of that Hero up to 4 spaces. That figure will not take any leaving engagement attacks. You may not take any additional turns with other figures you control after using this special power. TECHNOPATHIC CONTROL SPECIAL ATTACK Range Special. Attack 5. Choose Livewire or a figure within 10 spaces of Livewire that is an Android, a Cyborg or has an X-O Marker on its card. Attack any figure within X clear sight spaces of the chosen figure, where X is the Range number of the chosen figure. ELECTROSTATIC INTERFERENCE 3 When Livewire defends against an attack from a non-adjacent figure, roll 3 additional defense dice. If the attacking figure is an Android or Cyborg, all blanks rolled count as additional shields. FLYING Last edited by tcglkn; July 27th, 2021 at 07:28 AM. |

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Alright, so this is where things were left off from LCW. I am curious if people have any concerns with the discrepancies in power for Unit-Y Command first off. I think the shortening of the other powers gives us a tad more space to play with Unit-Y, but don't necessarily think it needs it.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
A couple of wording suggestions. I feel like the Unit-y Command makes more sense if you reverse the order of the first option.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Yea, cause that's confusing the way it was worded
![]() I'll have to take a look at Gilad and see if I can't find a better way to word it. |

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Ok, I'd do something more like this then.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
I don't mind that, but I think that makes it literally only work with Gilad, since you lose the movement? Are there other figures that get free player phase movement?

I suppose you could do it more like this then.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
Would it be better to say after attacking in this case? Makes it a bit clearer that it is the figure taking the turn (without requiring an OM, as I don't want to do that as it messes with Ninjak) and keeps the 1-2 punch idea of it.

Re: The Book of Livewire (Amanda Mckee) (Breathing)
So how does this work with say Cyclops II. figure 1 moves but doesn’t attack. Figure two doesn’t move but before he attacks, figure one gets to attack?
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |
