Character Bio -A milennium ago, Demona was a respected member of the gargoyle clan led by her mate, Goliath, who made their home among the humans of Castle Wyvern, in the highlands of Scotland. However, her admittedly justifiable resentment of the humans, who considered the gargoyles they lived alongside as little better than demons, led her down an increasingly dark path.

After a plot she hatched to usurp the humans of Castle Wyvern failed, the majority of Demona's fellow gargoyles were killed. The remainder were cursed to a seemingly permanent stone sleep - all except for Demona. Instead of accepting her part in this tragedy, Demona only allowed herself to become more twisted and hateful, blaming all humans.

After forming a life-link with Macbeth (yes, that Macbeth) at the orchestration of the Weird Sisters, Demona became virtually immortal. She spent the next 1,000 years scheming to overthrow humanity and increasing her knowledge of the magical forces of her world, which can only affect those who both see and hear them.

When the six remaining members of her clan were freed from their stone curse by the billionaire David Xanatos, it seemed as though Demona might finally have her shot at redemption. Sadly, though, the path she had gone down was just too dark to return from, and she found herself the enemy of her once close friends, who could now see nothing of the gargoyle she once was in the bitter husk she had become.

ARCANE PLOT
Once per game, Demona may cast a Unique Spell. Before that spell is cast, you may choose an opponent’s Unique Hero. That opponent must move at least as many unrevealed Order Markers to the chosen Hero's card as there are Order Markers on this card, up to a maximum of three. While Demona is casting a spell, figures with the Blind Warrior special power are not affected, and whenever a special power refers to the Magical Defense special power, it refers to this special power as well.

IMMORTAL HATRED
If an opponent controls at least one Human, you may add 2 to your initiative roll for each Order Marker on this card. Before rolling for initiative, if Demona is destroyed, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 15 or higher, place her on any empty space within one space of her previous placement and remove all but 3 Wound Markers from this Army Card.

CLIMBING AND GLIDING
If Demona would move onto a lower level, she may use the Flying special power for the remainder of her movement. Instead of moving Demona normally, she may move 1 space up to 30 levels up and she will take any leaving engagement attacks.

Okay, I think we've got this one pretty well worked out now. I've got two different options for the respawn which I'm torn between, so I'd actually like to go to Initial as is on that score and try both versions out on the battlefield before deciding.
I'm open to discussion on the specifics of the trigger for Petrify.
I also changed the name of the first power and tweaked its wording to be more similar to Kristoff.

Are spells one-use? If so, no problems with Petrify. If they are multi-use, Petrify is busted.

Read the spell rules. Yep, one use. Common Spells exist, but you still have to pay for each individual use. Petrify is Unique, so yeah - one use only.

Wow. Petrify is absolutely killer to Order Marker hub armies. Professor X hates that one. I'm thinking she's going to be pretty expensive.

Still want to see Immortal Hatred split up and the resurrection bit tied to a roll.

I think Petrify will hit most of the cost of the combo, but Arcane Plot does pair with it extremely well against hub armies. Will be interesting to see how it plays, but I definitely want to see tests against armies with Order Marker hubs.

Yeah, I was forgetting that spells have their own costs. I'd say that's an expensive spell.

I still think that's an unncecessary split that clouts up the card and adds complexity. Not certain about the resurrection bit, but that is extra text and the theme behind it is sketchy.
