Character Bio - Scott Free is the son of Highfather and heir to New Genesis, home of the benevolent New Gods. But he didn't know that growing up. As an infant, he was sent to the terrible Apokolips, ruled by Darkseid, as part of a hostage exchange to end war between New Genesis and Apokolips. Scott grew up in Darkseid's totalitarian society, dreaming of escape.

His unsuccessful attempts to flee Apokolips earned him the ironic "Scott Free" name, but he eventually made good and escaped to Earth. On Earth, he encountered Thaddeus Brown, an escape artist who went by the stage name "Mister Miracle". Brown passed a few tricks, as well as his name and costume, on to Scott. Scott has used the legacy of Mister Miracle as a force for good; he battles injustice alongside his wife, Big Barda, a fellow New God who left Darkseid's army to be with Scott.

After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Mister Miracle, you may immediately take a turn with a Barda Free figure you control that has this special power, and you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control. During this turn, that Barda Free figure can attack only while adjacent to Mister Miracle.

DEFY DEATH 7
Mister Miracle cannot be removed from the battlefield by an opponent's special power and cannot be destroyed unless he receives enough wounds to be destroyed. When Mister Miracle would receive enough wounds to be destroyed, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 7 or higher, Mister Miracle may ignore those wounds and immediately use his Daring Escape special power.

Looks pretty well set. Hard to kill, but once you get him close it's just a matter of time. Are you shooting for a certain point range?

I'd start him around 280, after fiddling with the calculator.

Upper 200s sounds fine to me. Might be nice if he was below 300 and Barda was above 300 by the same amount?

And yeah, his roll to save himself only kicks in when he would actually get destroyed, so you can chip his health away more easily than a figure like Spider-Man that evades everything.

I'm pretty happy with this, but I could see going with something a hair less specific on the class. First order of business is waiting for Barda's thread to go up!

Good timing - I was just settling down to get Barda up when I saw this one pop up. (She's here by the way, though I think we've got a good variety of links already out there. )

I agree that getting him and Barda to a round 600 would be a nice goal, if possible. I could see Entertainer for his class but I personally like him having an oddball one-off.
