Some nicely made customs here. Thanks for sharing.
Here are some thoughts of mine.

Julian Helstrom
Has some pretty diverse use with Rally the Guard. For reasons I'm not yet educated on, reverse bonding from hero's can be a big no no. Here it is much a shoehorn to use him with such a wide variety of teams. I think Rally the Guard could be more interesting as a general ability alone that affects these squad personalities, kind of how you have the +2 move bonus.

For his Special attack, what abilities are you comparing this with? I feel it could be simplified by not requiring the last sentence.
A pretty cool fighter. Points are about right, maybe 5-10 low, but would need to observe performance in playtesting.


Gimli Ironfist
Very cool Dwarf model. Feels pretty strong with his solid stats. Without tough or one shield defense, there is slightly less survivability, but Dwarven Fortitude makes up for that! Gives him a strong theme too.

Champion Inspiration is way too good. Having a +1 to Atk and Def already needs to be selective and close quarters. Opening it up to all figures with 3 space distance actually hurts the design from an outsiders perspective. I understand the urge to make characters that fit in across the board though.

Crushing Blow is very strong as well, maybe bit too much. Thematically, being able to choose specific figures around him for a single blow doesnt make sense to me, unless its like a tremor to the ground. In which case it could be quelled by having a double edge affect, affecting your own figures as well.. if that doesn't seem like a direction you'd want to go, I'd consider lowering it to 4 attack.

The wording for Eldritch blast leaves some room for improvement. For starters, the first sentence is unnecessary, and to my surprise, since they are all separate rolls, you can should word it simply as, she may attack 1 additional time, 2 additional times, 3 times, etc.

Dimension leap is cool. Is there a height limit to it? perhaps with the shortening of Eldritch Blast you will have some extra space to add one, if you find it necessary.

How does she play and compare with the other elf heroes? Does she survive well? Is she a preferred choice of attacking or does she bring something unique to the table?


Ciaran Esenwein
I like the design. I like how Insatiable Thirst gives him disengaging and limiting it to once per round seems fair.
Being in Valkrill, I would have liked to see him bond with Nicholas Esenwein instead who in my opinion could use a doppelganger.

I agree the synergy with vampires besides Cyprien would be cool. He does synergize with the Skeletons of Annellintia, which is cool.

@SchismaticSounds and @Tablewalker I made an update to Ciaran Esenwein by changing him to a Baron in order to make him at a lower class to a Duke. This allowed me to have him also synergize with Nicholas Esenwein. I appreciate the recommendation. Still working on the updates with the other inputs.

I think Undead Lord Bonding would limit it to only undead lords technically. Perhaps there could be a creative name used for the vamps. Something like the crypt guardians “Royal Escort”.

Playtesting would need to validate, but imo 45 points is way too low for Cirian. It allows you to take a turn with Cyprein, then get 2 more turns that round - so you'd be looking at: chilling touch, attack 4, attack 4, and then (if you destroyed a figure) attack 4 again.

If the card was changed so that he only bonded with Nicholas and not Cyprein that could be cool and nerf that effect from being too powerful.

The concept is great, it's just underpriced (imo).
