The figure used for this unit is a Mage Knight Dungeons figure from the Heroic Quests: The Citadel set. Its name is Erlin Boltripper. The same sculpt in an alternate paint job is available in the Sinister set as Golem Mechanic #079, #080, and #081.

Character Bio: As everybody knows, dwarves are good with machines. Utgar summons a specialist, both to help him keep his army of robots in fighting trim, and to sabotage the devices employed by his foes.

SABOTAGE
Destructible objects and opponents' Soulborg figures subtract 2 from their defense dice when adjacent to Beorn Boltcutter.

UPGRADE
Start the game with 3 Upgrade Markers on this card. Instead of attacking, you may choose a friendly Unique Soulborg Hero adjacent to Beorn Boltcutter that does not have an Upgrade Marker on its Army Card. Place an Upgrade Marker from this card on the chosen hero's Army Card. For the duration of the game, that Soulborg adds 1 to its Move and Attack numbers as long as that Upgrade Marker is on its Army Card. If that Soulborg defends against a normal attack and no excess shields are rolled, remove the Upgrade Marker from its Army Card.

-Rulings and Clarifications-

Q: If I Upgrade my Q9 and it loses the Upgrade Marker, can I place another Upgrade Marker on its Army Card?
A: Yes. As long as there are not any Upgrade Markers on a Unique Soulborg Hero's Army Card, you may place an Upgrade Marker onv it.

Q: If I put one of my Beorn's Upgrade Markers on my Major Q9, and my opponent Mind Shackles Q9, does Q9 still get the benefit from the Upgrade Marker?
A: Yes.

Q: If I put one of my Beorn's Upgrade Markers on my Major Q9, and my opponent Mind Shackles Q9, can his Beorn also put an Upgrade Marker on Q9?
A: No. Since Q9 already has an Upgrade Marker, he cannot add another one.

Q: If a Soulborg with an Upgrade Marker is destroyed without losing the Upgrade Marker, and is then resurrected (e.g. the Glyph of Sturla), does the Soulborg retain the Upgrade Marker?
A: Yes.

Q: If Beorn's powers are negated by Morsbane's Rod of Negation, does an Upgrade marker that's been placed continue to work?
A: Yes. Upgrade triggers when the marker is placed, and continues to work even if Beorn is negated or destroyed.

I have two macs, one for work and one for home. As I've been traveling for my job, I haven't had my home mac for a few weeks. My home mac has all of my HeroScape stuff on it.

What I mean is, I don't understand what any of that has to do with whether the file is in the Downloads section or not and how it gets linked from the Book.

All in all, this guy looks awesome! I've always loved the death walkers despite the fact that they are pretty underpowered, and anything that gives them a boost is great to see. The only thing that kind of annoys me is the fact that he's from Eberron instead of Feylund. I'm of the persuasion that D&D was the worst thing to happen to classic scape. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think its unfortunate to see C3V perpetuate this with new units brought over from the D&D universe. At the end of the day, though, I'm just glad to see new units being created and released!
