The Book of Bahadur
Alternative Card:
Spoiler Alert!
The figure used for this unit is a Confrontation figure from the Wolfen of Yllia set. It is available in the Wolfen of Yllia Throne of Stars Hero Box and the Wolfen Starter Set. The name of the figure is Y'Anrylh. Character Bio: Snarling, Bahadur swings his mighty halberd and cleaves all who stand before him. Squads are easy prey to this mighty warrior of the Varkaanans; even his own kind proclaim that Bahadur is the most vicious Varkaanan of all time. If Bahadur falls on the field of battle, his ferocity lives on in his allies; the only thing more frightening than facing the black wolf himself is facing those who avenge him. Quote:

Re: The Book of Bahadur
Well met!
I've been playing the Varkanaans for a bit now (Hell or High Water! Battle Report, Blizzard Ruminations,THE HILLS ARE ALIVE! Battle Report) and, of all of them, Bahadur has been the most consistently impressive. Compare him to Sgt. Drake SotM. ![]() Drake has 1 more Life. After that, it's apples and oranges between the two. In a recent game, Bahadur pounded Q9 into rubble, ably assisted by a couple of Greyspears he was bonded to through Wolfpack. And he is even useful after death, which undoubtedly contributes to my aggressive play with him. [The aforementioned encounter with Q9 could have been avoided safely, but I wanted to see what Bahadur could do ![]() ![]() Next Generation |

Re: The Book of Bahadur
I agree that Bahadur is the most consistent Wolf Hero (besides Khosumet being consistently bad
![]() I haven't gotten his attack boost to work often in a Vark army. Usually my Greyspears are the last to die, and Bahadur never dies quickly enough to be placed on the melee Varks. That said, when bad luck makes Bahadur fall early, I'm not too sad since my other Varks are now stronger. |

Well met!
Bahadur the Magnificent! ![]() He's never lost In battle or game; He's simply the best by far. When blades are crossed 'Tis always the same: One blow and au revoir! 'Tis he! 'Tis he! So adm'rably fit! A true Prometheus unbound. And here he stands, with valour untold, Exeption'ly brave, amazingly bold, To serve me and win the Round! ![]() Next Generation |
