Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
NAME = OMNI-MAN
SECRET IDENTITY = NOLAN GRAYSON SPECIES = VILTRUMITE UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = CHAMPION PERSONALITY = CONFLICTED SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 7 MOVE = 8 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 8 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = 440 VILTRUMITE ENDURANCE When defending against a normal attack from a figure that is not a Viltrumite, if at least one shield is rolled, the most wounds Omni-Man can take from this attack is one. At the start of any round, if there are 4 or more wounds on this card, you may remove 1 Wound Marker from this card. OMNI-ASSAULT SPECIAL ATTACK Range 1. Attack 5. Instead of moving and attacking normally with Omni-Man, you may move Omni-Man up to 4 spaces. Omni-Man can attack up to 3 times with Omni-Assault Special Attack at any point before, during, or after this move as long as Omni-Man is on a space where he could end his movement. If you're wondering why you haven't gotten any responses yet, it's because nobody knows this is here.

Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
For the write up, I really like everything I see there! My only thought is that I'd shrink the movement on Omni-Assault a bit, just to better differentiate it from Invincible's punch. This is more of an onslaught in a smaller area, IMO, as opposed to Invincible flying from far away at top speed and punching one thing really hard. So I'm thinking 6 spaces instead of 8 might be a nice move.

Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
My bad; was at a coffeeshop that was about to close, so I rushed through the end of that post.
![]() I was actually trying to mirror Invincible's SA. If we want to differentiate it, we could nix the straight line restriction, too, but it'd up his power level. |

Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
I'd be fine nixing the straight line restriction, but if we did, I'd want to drop the move even further, to about 4 spaces.

Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
I'd be fine with 6 spaces in a straight line or 4 without that restriction. Otherwise I like everything here.

Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
Seems good with the suggested tweaks to Omni-Assault. I don't know the character at all, so I'll trust those that do when it comes to his power level and theme.

Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
Doesn't matter to me which way we go, one parallels Invincible a bit better, while the other makes him simply nastier! He still has to be unengaged, though, so only 4 movement might be a bit restrictive if his opponents' are keeping close to him to prevent it.

Re: The Book of Omni-Man (Design Phase)
Plenty more than 48 hours already passed, so I'm going to update! I'm nixing the straight line and changing the movement to 4. Just a little worried that it won't be helpful with such a small movement and still having the unengaged clause, but testing could show that.
Another option is to nix the unengagement, then he still has to worry about leaving engagements. But again, testing proves everything. I'll go with 4 move and free movement for now. Then I think we now have to vote for an initial, correct? In that case I propose we move to initial phase! ![]() |

Re: The Book of Omni-Man ~~ Vote for Initial!
Nope. We only vote for that in the public threads.
