Character Bio - Born in the Bronx, Hobie Brown was a bright but angry teenager who got fired from his job as a window washer. Intending to use his engineering skills for personal profit, he devised a plan to steal items while disguised as a supervillain and bring them back to his home as Hobie Brown.

However, when he donned his green and purple "Prowler" costume for the first time, he crossed paths with Spider-Man. Spider-Man vanquished and unmasked the Prowler, but realizing he was just a misunderstood kid (much like himself), he gave him advice to not throw his life away as a criminal and to redeem himself. Hobie took this advice to heart and has since become a model citizen.

Later Hobie became convinced that Spider-Man was involved somehow in the death of police Captain George Stacy, and unsuccessfully tried to bring Spider-Man to justice.

Prowler has no superhuman powers, but is naturally inventive, especially in the field of pneumatics, although he has no formal education in that science. He relies on a suite of technical gimmicks that he has created. The Prowler wears modified coveralls interwoven with denim and stretch fabric, equipped with gas cartridge bracelets and anklets capable of propelling projectiles at high velocity. His arsenal of projectiles include steel darts ("flechettes"), gas pellets, small explosives, magnesium flares and cleaning fluid. Prowler has been known to use hypnotic aids and conventional hand-held weapons. He wears steel-tipped gauntlets for scaling walls, and shock absorbent foam rubber insulated boots. He also wears a cape which contains a network of pneumatic filaments which expand with air to give it a rigid structure, allowing him to glide for short distances.

EXPERT CLIMBING
When moving up levels of height to move onto a space with Prowler, do not count spaces for the first two levels and only count one space for each two levels after the first two. You may ignore Prowler's height of 5 when climbing. Prowler never takes falling damage or major falling damage.

GLIDE 3
Before, during or after moving, Prowler may be placed on any empty space within 3 spaces of and lower than his current location, once per turn. When Prowler uses Glide 3, he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

Some verbiage needs work but other than that he looks good... Although I'm not sure he should be above defense 4. He's a pretty minor character... Is he an especially effective combatant?

EDIT: Wikipedia says he's a green belt in taekwondo, which is not very advanced.

Don't know him but looking him up on Marvel Comic Database, it seems like you have his power set down nicely.

As Margloth said, perhaps the wording could be cleaned up a little. I can look at it more later.

While he may not be the best fighter, he's got those steel claws at the end of his gauntlets, so I can imagine those could do some damage, and it's only a single attack.

I guess his costume is like a flack suit, so I would could be better than Two-Face and regular type guys.

Expert Climbing covers his special boots and the Glide3 covers his special cape.

I would recommend something like this for this power:

It's wordier but it sounds more like official HeroScape wording.

I left all the intention as it is, but I thought it would be nice to let the additional attack be different from the first if Prowler so chooses. This is an "Arsenal" special attack after all.

Yep, agree with the "at least one level" but not sure about the dropping of "occupied" as that is an official HS term.

Yep that wording is better, although I am not liking the word "have", as it doesn't feel HS'ey. Also it was intentional that he have to use the same attack as I was seeing him throwing 2 of what ever the choice was, so 2 knives, 2 flechettes, or 2 small explosives at a time, but the HS mechanics aren't really up to doing that hence the additional attack of the same option. But it is "themey" & if we can't make it work then choosing all over again is fine.

This sounds better for that last bullet IMO.

I don't really have a preference either way right now between letting him choose a new bullet for the second attack or just using the same bullet twice.

I am on board with the choosing of the second attack too. I think he could two attacks of different types at the same time, just as easy as he could throw two of the same type.

For the last bullet, "have" isn't great, I agree, but neither is "affect" IMO. "Lets affect some figures". I don't know, I think that sounds weird.
