The Book of Cable
The Book of Cable _________________________________________________________________ C3G MARVEL WAVE 16 XTINCTION AGENDA ![]() Comic PDF ![]() Mini PDF The figure used for this unit is a Heroclix figure from the Mutant Mayhem set. Its model number and name are #073-074 / Cable. Its model number and name are #213 / Nathaniel Summers. Character Bio - Born the son of Scott Summers (aka Cyclops) and Madelyne Pryor (the clone of Jean Grey), Nathan Summers was sent into the future to be cared by the Askani after he was infected with the Techno Organic Virus by Apocalypse. The Askani taught Cable to control the infection using enhanced meditation with his powers of Telepathy and Telekinesis. Because he is constantly keeping the virus from taking over his body with his considerable Telekinetic abilities, he is unable to use those powers for any other purposes and is forced to rely on his years of combat experience and training to survive. He is helped by the fact that he has allowed the Techno Organic Virus to enter his marrow and parts of the right side of his body, greatly enhancing his strength and durability and providing him with a bionic eye with capabilities far beyond those of an average human. Cable's main objectives in life are combatting the forces of his clone Stryfe and his Mutant Liberation Front, Apocalypse, and protecting the mutant infant Hope Summers. To this end, he often leads teams of mercenaries, including the Six Pack, and has a long-standing affiliation with Deadpool. _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

Re: The Book of Cable - Design Phase
A wound to move someone 3 spaces is rarely gonna be worth it.

Re: The Book of Cable - Design Phase
MFC sounds like a Cyclops combination.
Like the LT power. Throw friendly Blob adjacent to opponent's figures. ![]() If the wound is an issue, make it a d20 roll. Is it thematic that he is weakened from using his power? SIGHTING sounds redundant - he already gets an additional attack die. How about more like ADAPTIVE CAMOUFLAGE in reverse - SIGHTING For each attack die Cable receives from height advantage when attacking a non-adjacent figure, he receives one additional attack die. |

Re: The Book of Cable - Design Phase
Looks good Margloth. I don't know the character so some of the following might be due to this ignorance.
Does he deserve a defense of 6 & life of 5? MERCENARY FIELD COMMANDER ![]() LIMITED TELEKINESIS, so does he (in the comics) become wounded or severely exhausted/fatigued when he uses this power or are you just trying to justify the usefulness of the power by adding the wounding detriment? Also can that space, 3 spaces away, be 50 levels higher than his original position? Re: The Book of Cable - Design Phase
Sighting is a power from an official card. The Microcorp Agents I believe.

See how long it's been since I played Classic.
See what this forum has done to me! See, see! Another instance of less-than-optimal wording. ![]() |

Re: The Book of Cable - Design Phase
I don't know, I like the official wording. It is very streamlined and though it sounds redundant at first, it quickly reveals itself. The MicroCorp are one of my all time favorite units.
