Following the 13th Fortress at Fulcrum Fountain, the Fourteenth has been bumbled. With large gaping holes in the floor, and unreachable towers, the builders abandoned it for better pastures. Three armies now converge on the relic to pillage for parts.

The Thirteenth Fortress at Fulcrum Fountain has been an unlucky one! It remains desolate and frozen year round. Two opposing armies have set out to discover the mystery behind it.

2 players. 500 point armies.

*EDITED* changed the glaciers, added ice, and moved some battlements and tiles for easier figure access. Also on the original a corner castle wall on level 7 was rubbing against the castle arch hard so I turned it 120 clockwise and level 17 60 counterclockwise to fit better.

A twelth fortress has been installed at Fulcrum fountain, hoping that it would standfast against time and raging battles. A hidden bunker holds room for reinforcements to rush out as a second line of defence. A worthy fortress for a worthy general to control. Two armies battle it out.

The eleventh fortress at Fulcrum Fountain is steadfast and rigorous. A mighty monument to the faithful devoted to upholding the well known site. The view from the tall tower is a sight to behold, but it is enchanted. Figures who stop atop the monument are so transfixed, they transform into stone and become part of the building itself.

Objective: Destroy oppenent's figures. The Glyph of Brandar represents the enchantment. Figures that fly or are thrown or otherwise placed on the glyph recieve a wound at the end of each round that they occupy it.

Glyph of Kelda- healing, is placed at the tip of the map on the water space. The Glyph of Rannveig-wind, is placed at the foot of the steps.

Kelda has sponsored a vault to protect the healing waters of the Fulcrum Fountain wellspring. A colonnade offers a high perch to survey the surrounding lands. Control of this point gives an army domination over your enemies.

Objective: Destroy opponents figures.

Brash moves at Fulcrum Fountain. An army has begun erecting a fortress on the once neutral territory where armies had called a truce. Now with the peace treaty broken, it is all out havoc. Three forces rush in to claim sovereignty

#37. Fulcrum Fiasco

A feeble stream slips out from a cave at the Fulcrum Fountain. A deceptive enemy has floated explosives upriver to destroy the hill where many heros battle for control. Thereby he hopes to wipe out a good portion of his enemies strongest warriors with a sneak attack.

Objective: Destroy opponents' figures. After each round, move the explosives (the Glyph of brandar) up one water space towards the cave. If a figure occupies a water space where the glyph should be placed for the next round, then the explosives are haulted for that round and glyph is not moved. But the figure receives two automatic wounds.

Discharge: When the glyph is placed on the 6th water space (the red start zone marker), the explosives discharge. All figures occupying the 7-hex sand tile are immediately placed on an unoccupied hex exactly 3 spaces away from their original space. If a figure cannot be placed, it is destroyed. All remaining figures anywhere on the battlefield roll an attack die for discharge damage. A shield the figure is safe, a skull, the figure receives a wound. After the discharge the glyph of Brandar is removed and play continues as normal.

High atop a fertile jungle hill sits still the tranquill waters of Fulcrum Fountain. But underneath the leafy canopy are hidden caves. Any sort of beast might be lying in wait. Two opposing armies investigate for possible incorporation into their ranks.

They have you surrounded on three sides. They have the high ground. They seem to have every advantage. They are right where you want them. Your army is in the swamp of the forgotten Fulcrum Fountain, whose wellspring was mystical. You have discovered the swamp waters give your heroes extra stamina and strength.

Objective: Player 1 starts in the center Cyan starting zone. Player 2 starts on the corner Magenta starting zones. Players' figures that are on swamp water spaces add 1 to their normal attack value on their army cards. Destroy opponents figures.

Your armies have won battle after battle easily, and motivating them to press on is hard at the edge of the beautiful oasis at Fulcrum fountain. The lazy heat and soft sand lull them into relaxation.

Objective: At the end of each players' turn, roll the 20 sided die. If you roll an 8 or higher, remove an unrevealed order marker from your army card. Destroy opponents figures.

Objective: Player 2 must protect the waters of the wellspring at all costs. Player 1 must occupy all 4 water spaces to win. Player 2 wins if the game is not concluded at the end of round 6.

The Hive and its spawn have taken over Fulcrum Fountain. Its army hivelord has approached you to form an alliance against a common enemy. But it isn't only the boggy swamp that smells. Do you take the chance the marrow will live up to their word, or will you be betrayed at your weakest moment.

3 players. Player 1 on the cyan start zone with 550 points and must include the hive as part of his 550 points. Players 2 and 3 on the red and yellow start zones with 500 point armies.

Objective: Destroy opponents' figures. Players may form temporary alliances and consider each other's armies as friendlies. The alliances must be announced at the beginning of each round for purposes of following army card rules.

A Fiery Force has exploded under the Fulcrum Fountain, spraying hot lava and minerals out over the land.
Nearby inhabitants have erected a wall of rubble to stem the torching flow. Yet amazingly a small pond of healing water has remained at the top, bubbling and steaming in the caldera.
A warrior brave enough to climb the mountain will find the newly enriched water fortifying, giving a heightened fever of strength against enemies.

The Fulcrum Fountain is almost unrecognizable! A harsh winter has set a frozen cap steadfast over the once famed fountain. The way is treacherous and slippery, but a steady climber with a little help can make it through the harsh conditions.

If they can reach it and heal their hero, the tide may turn in their favor. It is a quick and fierce sprint to the top.

You have returned to the Fulcrum Fort, but alas, it has gone to ruin. There are tales that the spirits of fallen warriors who died trying to reach the healing waters of the well spring now haunt the fort, seeking to return to the glory of the fight. Is it the wind that howls around the desolate ruins? Or is it the wailing of the forlorn fallen heros?

Scenario: 2 players start in the blue and violet start zones, the third player drafts 2 squads of the Shades of Bleakewoode and places them on the yellow start zones. Roll for initiative, and continue play around the board to the left.

You have found the famous Fulcrum Fort that houses a healing wellspring, but so has your enemy!

Chariot Races

2 players.

Build the "chariots" with the terrain pieces you see off to the side of the map. Each player picks one "driver" figure to stand within the single hex space surrounded by the 4 battlements. Then each player places 2 other figures as the "horses" in front of the "driver". A Double space figure may not occupy any "horse" or "driver" positions. Any figures with the special power of flying may not fly while in either the "horse" position or "driver" position. Any figures with the special power of Slither must stop in water space while in either the "horse" position or "driver" position.



Player 1 starts his chariot in the red starting zone and his remaining army figures in the orange/yellow starting zone spaces.

Player 2 starts his chariot in the blue starting zone and his remaining army figures on the cyan starting zone spaces.

For Round One, order marker #1 must be placed on the army cards for the figures in the "horse" position for each player. When you reveal an order marker on an army card for one of the "horse" figures, you may move the entire "chariot" terrain 3 hex piece along with the figures on it up to the move number listed on the card. There must be at least one figure in a "horse" position and one figure in the "driver" position in order to move the "chariot".

Figures may be moved off and on a chariot at any time during that figures turn using normal turn procedure. Along the length of the race, players' other army figures starting along the course may move, snipe at, engage, and play in battle fashion to prevent the opponent from winning the race. All height advantage rules apply.

Goal: The player to move his/her chariot along the course of the track, starting at the blue and red start zones toward the trees, around the bend, over the river, and back to the castle wall and finishing with his/her driver inside its chariot over a road hex space wins. The driver does not have to be the same figure that started in that position at the beginning of the race. During the course of play, figures may switch positions into any of the "horse" or "driver" spaces using normal turn and movement rules.

Cool maps!
I especially like Lake, and Hot Cold should just look cool (no pun intended.) If (or When! [hoping, hoping]) I get the Tundra and Volcano sets, I'll try to build Hot Cold.

Those are some nice maps. I really like the look of Castle Rivers. But I think it could use some incentive to leave your own castle. I think adding one or two glyphs would work really good.

Nice. Fulcrum Forlorn really looks nice. The small starting zones might make a good fight for Marvel characters, so you can have more points.

*Please be aware that I caught a mistake right after someone downloaded the Fautor map, it requires 2 RTTFF sets, not just one. I have corrected this now in all the links and pdf file.
