Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Destiny
She's pretty much a must in Magneto II builds for me. Usually pair her and Magneto II with Gorgon(Stone Gaze & Precog Strike), but Psylocke(Psychic Knife) and Archangel(Razor Wing Slash) are decent options as well. In bigger/team armies you can also toss in Sage for an additional +1 d20 rolls and attack.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Magneto II
Magneto II is one of favorite figures to play. Has everything flying, big range, strong attack, stout defense, auto wounds, figure moving and a recruitment power.
A+ for me. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Magneto II
Reliable figure movement and auto-wounds, but big price point and only 5 Life/7 Defense with no defensive power. He's certainly usable and usually pulls his weight, but I almost think you need to be undercosted to be in the A+ territory and he's not, IMO.
4/A C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Magneto II
Making a Mutant an Outcast, especially one with a nice d20 power, can be quite good when combined with Destiny. His figure moving and auto-wounding are great. Decent survivability, though I find myself frequently seeing him taken out quicker than you'd think as 5 Life with 7 Defense with no defensive specials can be an easy victim of bad luck/botches. Overall a great pick, but can be expensive to get everything going(him + Destiny + Mutant to capitalize) and you still need some points for bonding(which Destiny can conflict with, wanting an OM herself), thus I think he falls just short of being among the real elite.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Magneto II
This guy is a beast, but yeah he really demands resources to live up to his full potential. I've had games where he dies surprisingly quickly to some focus fire, and a Magneto II army usually doesn't have much left to work with if he dies early.
Feels like a pretty high risk/high reward figure, as he can really run a game if he's able to get the ball rolling. His big investment has him at a 4/A- for me |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Magneto II
Yeah, I agree with y’all’s analysis. A- is probably more correct.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Magneto II
Lex Luthor (Battlesuit), Superman (II), Iron Man (Mark I, II, III), and second versions of characters Hasbro covered (Hulk, Cap, Red Skull, Spidey) all came before him.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Magneto II
First that literally has (II) in his title, yeah. Battlesuit Lex is the first time we did another version of a character with the same identity.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
