Casual Scape day at Casual Dragon Games! Lockport, NY

I'm running a casual Heroscape game day this June! This one will be a light event, in order to give first-timers a sample of what Heroscape has to offer, and gauge for future events (tournaments, other players assisting with setup, prizes, etc.) We have a friendly group, happy to help you learn and have fun! Details below:

Where: Casual Dragon Games - 136 Walnut Street, Lockport, NY 14094

When: Saturday, June 23rd, 2018, 2-5 PM

Armies: First come, first serve, tiered draft. I will have figures laid out in three different tiers, and players may choose one card from two different tiers to form their (two card) army for the day.
Tiers:
Tier 1: Drake V2, Spiderman, Q10, Sonlen, Eltahale, Red Skull
Tier 2: Zombies x3, Venocs x4, Dzuteh x2, Obsidians x2, Marro Drudge x3, Roman Archers x3, Marrden Hounds x2
Tier 3: Mimring, Ogre Warhulk, Frost Giant, Shurrak, DW9K, Su-Bak-Na

Maps/Scenarios:

VIP escort - Thorgrim the Viking Champion is automatically added to both armies for this game(although a Finn figure will be used for one team in order to prevent confusion.) To claim victory, you must have your Thorgrim end his turn unengaged on an opponent's start zone space. The game does not end if your Thorgrim dies: you can force a draw by killing enemy Thorgrim before victory conditions are met.
Map – Bake at 3:50 – My map (1 RotV, 1 VW)

Heat of Battle - No start zones. Take turns placing one figure onto the field at a time, onto an empty hex (cannot occupy glyph.) There must be at least one hex between all placed figures. Destroy the enemy to win.
Map – Freezer - Scraps map (1 RotV, 1 TT)

Control Points - Brandar's Chest treasure glyphs are placed on the map, face up. At the end of each round, players earn 1 point for each of their figures that are either on the glyph or adjacent to it. 3 rounds.
Map – Embattled Fen – BoV map (1 SotM, 1 FotA)

Double agents - Swap armies with your opponent for this fight, and see if you can defeat the army you crafted!
Map - Everglades and Evergreens – ARV map (1 SotM, 1 RttFF)

Since this event is primarily free play, these scenarios (and, as available, player cards/figures) can always be swapped as players would like.
