Re: The HoSS Question Dump

*Nevermind, I saw someone had it on there Page... Thanks...*

I'm a C3G guy, but want to someday soon to get into HOSS. I looked at the "HOSS Home Page", and again I'm a C3G guy so I'm lucky to have an easy index to find. This is probably a stupid question but, where is the the HOSS index? I've seen the cards on the Printing Page. Is that how everone prints out and gets to see the HOSS cards?

Re: The HoSS Question Dump

I've only recently started getting interested in heroscape, and I found this incredible HOSS variant you've created. I have a lot of Imperial Assault figures and it seemed reasonable to use these as proxies. But I haven't been able to find how many hexes the bases are supposed to cover. For example, is the EWEB trooper supposed to cover 1 hex or 2? and the ATST, is that supposed to be 4 hexes or just 2?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I searched and couldn't find anything.

Re: The HoSS Question Dump

E-web is a single hex base, the AT-ST fits on a peanut (double hex) base. I thought Porkins put together a tutorial for switching AT-ST base out but I could be mistaken as I still have not switched my own AT-ST base.

No problem. The E-WEB design is based on the Star Wars mini which is basically a large single hex. The AT-ST was designed with a rebased (or modified base) Star Wars mini in mind as a two-hex figure. I've not seen either of these figures from Imperial Assault in person, only pictures on the web, so I can imagine their bases may make it tricky to use them directly in Heroscape.

Edit: I do have the Imperial Assault IG-88, and it works perfectly for Scape, as should all the individual humanoid figures.

Re: The HoSS Question Dump

Thank you for your prompt answers! It looks like the ATST base is just a bit over 2 hexes so probably close enough, but I'll look around for some instructions for rebasing.

The instructions for modifying the base of a SW Minis AT-ST are here in the AT-ST thread.

Re: The HoSS Question Dump

Any chance you guys could consider doing uncommon hero Jedi knights when you're doing stuff from the Prequels? That way scenarios involving the Jedi purge that happens after Episode III could be run.

Yes. In the Original HoSS design thread which is now located in our Inner Sanctum, we have a design for a Jedi Guardian. The plan was to also design other classes such as Sentinel, Healer, etc.

Currently we are focused on finishing up Episode 6, with Episode 1 designs getting into the pipeline.

Of course, an Uncommon Jedi figure could probably be done as a HoSS Public Design by someone who had enough playtest points
