Well met! Disgraced Warlord is unlikely to occur, but adds flavor. Valeros, Human Fighter Pathfinder's Iconic Heroes Evolved RAVENWOLF General: Einar Human, Unique Hero, Rogue, Disciplined, Medium 5 Life 5, Move 5, Range 7, Attack 4, Defense 4 DISGRACED WARLORD If there are 2 or more Warlords in your army and they are all destroyed, Ravenwolf becomes a Warlord, in addition to his current Class. BASH AND SLASH If Ravenwolf attacks an adjacent figure he was not adjacent to at the start of his turn, add 3 to his roll in Master at Arms and he may attack that figure 1 additional time. MASTER AT ARMS When Ravenwolf rolls defense dice against a normal attack from an adjacent figure, roll a 20-sided die. On a roll of 15 or higher, add one automatic shield to whatever is rolled. When Ravenwolf rolls attack dice, roll a 20-sided die. On a roll of 15 or higher, add one automatic skull to whatever is rolled. If Bash and Slash is adding 7 dice, then say so. I'd either cut that down, or add more points.

Well met! The evolutions of Captain Xue and Ravenwolf are different. I've been searching for the right formula for Captain Xue, and our February game will help, but something is still missing, even for casual play. Captain Xue's Hand Cannon and Captain's Courage are, of course, precursors of Bash and Slash and Master of Arms and Captain Xue's testing has and will give us knowledge about how those powers play. Based on this, and @Dad_Scaper's input, Ravenwolf appears to be near ready for SoV as is - except for price. He looks to be fun and present a fascinating combination of opportunities and challenges. Well met! In space, no one can hear you scream . . . Here in Winter, bound by weather and lack of coin, I ponder . . . not so weak and weary, but energized by a level of obsession with what is happening with Captain Xue, as opposed to what has happened with Ravenwolf. I feel bad about it because Captain Xue's sculpt is so cool. With an improved Hand Cannon, her combination of powers fits the sculpt. We know enough about how she plays to submit her as is, and see if there are any issues - normally. Now, thanks to Ravenwolf, I know what Captain Xue needs - a character power that makes her truly unique, over and above a cool combination of combat powers - that something that makes you excited to play her. That something that Ravenwolf now has, thanks to @Dad_Scaper. I can't help looking ahead to March and beyond, when Ravenwolf starts hitting the table. Maybe I'm crazy? Foolish question; I play Heroscape, don't I? But I think he is in line to become one of the most intriguing units in Heroscape, and I'm excited to be playing him in March. Is it only me? Even without Disgraced Warlord being feasible due to the 12 space army limitation, I think he'll be a blast to play. If he plays like I imagine, and there are no deal breakers for SoV (which I believe Dad_Scaper would have pointed out, if they existed), then it's on to the Pre-SoV Workshop! Onward to glory - I go! P.S.: Seeing as Renegade is releasing Pirates, we'll be looking at them for inspiration with respect to Captain Xue. On the subject of Captain Xue, what do you all think of the idea of her having a Consort (folding Double Attack into Hand Cannon): CAPTAIN XUE General: Vydar Human, Unique Hero, Commander, Tricky, Medium 5 Life 5, Move 5, Range 7, Attack 3, Defense 3 CAPTAIN XUE'S CONSORT Choose a Human Unique Hero you control to be Captain Xue's Consort. If Captain Xue is adjacent to her Consort and receives one or more wounds from a normal or leaving engagement attack, you may instead place any or all of those wound markers on her Consort's Army Card, but may not place enough wound markers on her Consort's Army Card to destroy Captain Xue's Consort. HAND CANNON When Captain Xue attacks, roll the 20-sided die. On a roll of 15 or higher, add one automatic skull to whatever was rolled. If Captain Xue attacks an adjacent figure, add 3 to your roll. When Captain Xue attacks, she may attack one additional time. CAPTAIN XUE'S COURAGE When a figure you control that is Captain Xue or within 6 clear sight spaces of Captain Xue rolls defense dice against a normal attack from an adjacent figure, roll a 20-sided die. Well met! For the 21st, I figure this is the version of Captain Xue we'll use. Captain Xue's Consort, interesting as it is, is probably too strong in all its current forms. Still looking for the right combination of powers for this sculpt. As is, Hand Cannon and Captain Xue's Courage will be precursor tests of Ravenwolf's Bash and Slash and Master at Arms, respectively.
