Glad I chose to play Pandemic Legacy with my daughters during the second half of the Super Bowl so I didn't have to see the choke birds.

Re: Sports: NFL
No kidding! I can't believe they let the Pats come back like that.

Bleaaaargh.
I did like the halftime show, though. I don't care for most pop music but I like Lady Gaga. |

Re: Sports: NFL
I was gaming too instead of watching the SB this year. We played Star Wars Rebellion and had a great time.

We gamed as well. Homebrew system.
Did make it home for the fourth quarter which was pretty sweet. Missed Gaga though. A cloud can change its semblance, yet retain its will With the intimacy of destruction, One knows what it is to be alive The empty sky holds no reflection, for sorrow - Eslo Rudkey |

Re: Sports: NFL
The guy I really feel sorry for is Julio Jones. He made legitimately one of the greatest catches I've ever seen, Superbowl or not. And it should have been the game-clincher (got them in field goal range to go up 2 scores with ~3 minutes left). Instead they took a sack, then a penalty, then punted, and now that's forgotten amidst Edelman's circus catch and the historic comeback.
Interestingly, until the Pats scored to get within 8, the Falcons had had a 2 score lead throughout the second half of every playoff game. They were on track to be the first team to win the SB while holding a safe lead in every game since the 1990s. |

Re: Sports: NFL
There was a time when there were as many Ravens fans as Steelers fans on this thread, which was kind of weird because Ravens fans tend to be from Baltimore & its surroundings, and Steelers fans can grow anywhere like mushrooms. But now I feel surrounded, which is I guess not a big surprise.
