Re: Best To Worst Star Wars Movie By Ranking Individual Chap
New Hope, Return of the Jedi, and the Last Jedi were the only ones I found inspiring. Rogue One, Empire Strikes Back, and Solo were at least entertaining. Force Awakens was decent. The rest were varying levels of bad, IMO.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I love George and I enjoy the prequels (love EPS III) but I also understand why people don't like the prequels. He is one of the most brilliant minds in film making though 100%. Thankfully, there is another.

That said, the Disney trilogy really needed a stronger overarching theme to tie all the movies together. As has been mentioned, they all feel more like A Star War Story than Episodes VII, VIII, and IX. IMVHO, the prequels are about Anakin's true heart/fall, the originals are about Anakin's destructive self/redemption, and the sequels would've been about Anakin's legacy. Disney was doing well with some parts of that. I think between first 6 movies, Luke's "failure" to Ben*, and Kylo's worship of Vader, it all could've lead to a real discussion between Luke and Ben/Kylo about who Anakin really was. There is some indirect relation between Ben and Anakin in that Ben was successfully able to save the woman he loved from certain death. A nice touch for sure. Just wish that theme was more central to all of the Sequel trilogy. There was a missed opportunity in RoS from TLJ where Luke tells Kylo after their skirmish, "see you around, kid." Luke never appears to Kylo to apologize or anything in RoS. The Han Solo memory is cool, though, and does happen at the same time as Rey runs off to Ahch-To and Luke appears there to her. *Luke's failure to Ben is characteristic after what we see on the Death Star with Vader. He goes to kill Ben just as he was going to finish Vader but then realizes it's not the Jedi thing to do. The difference is that Vader was spared by Luke and thankful because Luke saw the good in him whereas Ben saw this as a betrayal.

Re: Best To Worst Star Wars Movie By Ranking Individual Chap
You could sort of see the sequel trilogy as the story of Ben's redemption as kind of an opposite arch to the prequels being the story of Anakin's fall.
But Ben just isn't the most interesting character in the sequels, which hurts it. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Filoni made Maul my favorite Star Wars character. He's great.

Luke maybe but everything potentially interesting about him in the sequels occurs off-screen, which is part of the reason why the way he in TLJ is so frustrating. Since Disney is doing spin-off films how about a movie about Luke and Ben between Episodes 6 & 7 that actually delves into their relationship? If Clone Wars can make me actually care about copy/pasted expendable clones, then making me care about Ben and Luke and actually exploring how they ended up the way they did shouldn't be too hard. ~TAF, who also enjoys subverting expectations but it has to be done right to be of merit. Plus you have the weight of the old characters. I know I was itching to see Luke for a movie and a half, just wanted to see him over the new guys.
