Morning all. I have 2 quick questions that came up in a game last night.

1) Does Zatanna's Mindwipe negate special attacks or just special powers?

2) Do special powers that do more than one Wound (Daleks exterminate or Black Adams power of aton for example) ignore magical defence?

1. Yes. Special Attacks are Special Powers.

2. Yes. Magical Defense only helps against attacks.

Thanks IAmBatman. I have a follow up question to number 1.

I understand that with special powers you can target other figures even if your already engaged but you can't with special attacks, is that right? Niflheim vs Braxas is an excellent example.

Check out the Synergy Archive or the Sortable Index. The Archive has a list of all the beneficial ones along with their downsides, but the Index has a sorting function, as it's an Excel spreadsheet, where you can sort by personality, class, stat number, etc.
