"Wait then fire".

On the Minute Mens special attack "Wait then fire" how does it work?
Can you wait like 5 turns then have 7 attack?
Or is it just add one for the turn?
Please respond im in the middile of the game and would like to know
thank!

Also remember that this is an all-or-nothing special. If any of the 4th mass move during the turn, then none of them get the attack bonus.

That's the part that's most annoying. Do you give up WTF to get more units into position, or do you forfeit an attack to gain an extra attack die?

In most cases, I'd say move more into position to get more attacks. Hopefully, you'll have enough still alive on their next turn to get the full force of WTF.

I've played the 4th a few times and I love them. Both the Valiant bonus and WTF are, to me, fine when you can get them, but not worth hobbling yourself for.

I agree with fejkl - Work to get them in position so you can eventually WTF, but definitely move more in if they aren't in range. Moving plus shooting effectively gives them a LOT more range, and taking more shots per turn means more chances for your opponent to whiff on his defense dice.

Use Sir Gilbert with them, Jandar's Dispatch can move them along for you a bit extra sometimes with no firing penalty.

we have 4 set's of 4th mass and, in rough terrain, i find them quite effective. like the colonists looking out from behind the trees and shrubs, they just snip the heck out of the redcoats (more commonly known as jame's Utgar hord). wonderful little squad @70 points for 4 guys!
