Unit Debate #26 -- Finn Vs. Thorgrim

I went with Finn for the fact that he is Jandar and adds attack. Raelin is better then Thorgrim if you want defense.

Thorgrim and Raelin are Jandar, too, so I don't see your argument there, unless you're just remarking you like Jandar units.

Personally, I've always liked Thorgrim more, because I've always felt that knights with just one more defense are brutal. A lot of people say the knights need more attack, but a guaranteed 4 attacks of 3 (4 with Gilbert) is a lot, add in the champion's attack, and that's 14-22 dice being thrown at you in one turn.

Gilbert gives the knights that one extra attack. Thorgrim gives one extra defense. Finn is a little redundant to me, in a knight build.

but finn is better with sacred band, of course marcus decimus gallius gives an attack buff and extra move for just 20 extra points and he's disciplined.

For NHSD I did very well with Finn/Migol, both before and after Finn's death. Buffing up either of the two 'deadly' heroes (Migol/Zetacron) is always fun.

If you make a general specific army Finn is good for the Attack bonus, and I would think it would be better to go with Raelin over Thorgrim because she can fly and give defense to units at a distance.
