The Book of Blue Lantern (Warth)
The Book of Blue Lantern (Warth) C3G DC SUPER SECRET EXCLUSIVE 80 FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS: BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL Comic PDF Mini PDF The figure used for this unit is a Heroclix figure from the War of Light set. Its model number and name are #045 / Brother Warth. _________________________________________________________________ Character Bio - Warth is from Sector 2. He is the second person to be initiated into the Blue Lantern Corps. Warth was brought to Odym, home planet of the Blue Lantern Corps, by its first member, Saint Bro'Dee Walker of Sector 0001. Warth would go on to select Brother Hymn to be the Blue Lantern of his own sector of space and bring hope to its inhabitants. He chose to join the Blue Lanterns and was sent with Saint Walker and Hal Jordan to rescue Sinestro from execution by the Red Lanterns. As they passed a planet on the way, its sun prepared to go supernova. Jordan attempted to call for backup but was unable because of the interference of Warth and Saint's rings. It proved unnecessary as Warth and Saint joined together to use their powers on the sun, reversing its age until it was once more a young vital blue star. Warth listened as Saint Walker explained to Jordan Ganthet's ultimate purpose for him, to lead the Blue Lantern Corps. -Comic Vine _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Warth) (breathing)
NAME = BLUE LANTERN
SECRET IDENTITY = WARTH SPECIES = PACHYDERM UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = MONK PERSONALITY = HOPEFUL SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 5 MOVE = 4 RANGE = 4 ATTACK = 4 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 260 BLUE POWER BATTERY 2 Start the game with 2 blue Battery Markers on this card. Add 1 to Blue Lantern's Move and Defense numbers for each blue Battery Marker on this card. If one or more Green Lantern figures are within 4 spaces of Blue Lantern, you may also add the same number to Blue Lantern's Range and Attack numbers. CALMING ENERGY Instead of attacking with Blue Lantern, you may remove a blue Battery Marker from this card and choose Blue Lantern and up to 2 other figures within 2 spaces of Blue Lantern. For each chosen figure, you may: • remove 1 Wound Marker from its Army Card; or • remove 1 orange, red, or yellow Battery Marker from its Army Card; or • replace 1 previously removed green Battery Marker from its Army Card back onto its card, if possible. LIGHT THE WAY If there is at least one Order Marker on this card, Blue Lantern and all friendly figures within 4 clear sight spaces of Blue Lantern never take any leaving engagement attacks. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Warth) (breathing)
Ooh, this is nice. I don’t know the character but any space elephant ( even if obviously based on a Hindu god) is welcome haha!
I could see him and any GL being thrown into all sorts of armies. He’s a cool support piece. Again don’t know the character but I could see 6 life being an elephant. It’s help his support role too. Very cool. |

Don't you mean _especially_ if obviously based on a Hindu god.

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (breathing)
Any suggestion on species and class? Couldn't find an official species for him. Also open to 6 life if people feel it's appropriate.

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (breathing)
Just bought this mini a few weeks ago, so very happy to see this guy moving forward. I think Saint fits appropriately here, given he's the second Blue Lantern. First thing he and Walker did was recharge a sun.
I think you're right that his species has never been named, so no clue what to do there, other than somebody like, tweet Geoff Johns and asking I think its interesting to point out that Blue Lanterns don't recharge like other rings do. They are directly fueled by the hope of others they are with/protecting, making them theoretically have waaaay more charge than other rings. Might be an interesting direction for a Ganthet/Sayd to really let the faction stand alone some day. |

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (breathing)
I'd love to see Ganthet around. Don't know if we'll be able to fit him into this one, but that'd be cool. Maybe we need more Blues first?

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (breathing)
If it comes down to it, we could go Loxodon, which is the D&D race of Elephant Humanoids.
Otherwise, "???" could work, but it may be a bit weird for Star-Lord armies if there's another unit with "???" as a species that prevents them from getting the bonus? |
