Star Wars Miniatures Question - AT-ST + HS Base

Sorry for this rather obscure sounding question - I searched and did not find any results for AT-ST.

Does anyone know if an AT-ST (Endor or Blizzard Scout) from the SW Minis game would work on a double-hex Heroscape base?

I just checked my AT-ST from the Attack on Endor scenario pack, and compared it to an empty double base I had lying around.
It would defiantly fit with both of the feet on the circle parts of the base, both of the feet would stick off quite a bit though, nothing major like half a hex or anything but still the feet would stick off some.
