^^ It's true. While some are decent, many are bad, and only one is straight up good (and I would wager that 3 squads of Stingers (180 points) or 4th Mass (210 points) would beat Cap (220 points) the majority of the time). The creators have stated that the Marvel figures were created and tested with other 'scape, and are just fine to mix. So they'll always be allowed at the monthlies that I spearhead (well, there may be some exceptions, like last year's GenCon practice).

I just got a buddy of mine down here into Heroscape and he wants to come to a tournament soon. I'm sad I won't be able to play Saturday (though I will be making a short showing sometime during the day) but hopefully we can both make it in May.

P.S. speaking of May - the last saturday is Memorial Day Weekend. So I dunno what attendance would be like if it was that weekend...

Hopefully I speak for everyone when I say that last Saturday's get-together was a blast! Standings and army builds are posted, and congrats to @Leaf_It for his 4-0 finish with ninjas.
Let's do it all again in three weeks! As Memorial Day weekend is going to be problematic for many players, we are moving the May monthly up one week, and having it on the 19th. It's going to be a good one - check it out in the following post or the first post in this thread!

Location: Game Haven Sandy (9860 S 700 E, Sandy, UT 84070)

When: May 19th, 11 AM

Cost: $5 (100% of entries will go to prize support! And donating prizes is always quite welcome as well, of course.)

Format: General Wars! All units in an army must come from the same general.

- 525 point armies
- 24 figure limit (extra tiles will be provided if needed)
- SoV & C3V allowed, official Marvel not allowed this month because they aren't aligned with any general
- P. Glyphs: Defense+1, Unique Attack +1, Move, Wannok, Initiative, D20+1
- T. Glyphs: Defense+1, Attack+1, Potion of Healing, Ring of Protection, Belt of Giant Strength, Brooch of Shielding
- Four 55 minute rounds
