Someone will probably make an official posting, but for those who can't wait, here is the link to the events:

Some highlights:

Main Event is Reverse the Whip even during Day 1 (for Rounds 2 & 4). Day 2 is RtW for rounds 1 & 3.

4x300 and 4x400: Explains itself I think.
Assassination: Choose an opponent's hero and kill it to win.
Bring 2-440: Each player brings two 440-point armies, dice off and then take turns picking one from among the four to use.
Cluster Draft: Each player brings three 140-160 point armies, dice off and draft three from among the six to use.
Coalition War: Need to include at least 50 points from 5 different generals.
General Wars: Alliances are Jandar+Ullar+Valkrill, Utgar+Einar, and Vydar+Aquilla, but no more than 300 points from one General.

Team Up, Uniques Only, Learn to Play, Custom Matches, Flex Tourney -- same as usual.

I will be looking forward to seeing the map list. Over the weekend we got our basement cleaned up so there is room for practice space on a table

Team Up clarification, please: is the 12 hexes total between players, or per player?

So this'll be my first year going. Is it safe to assume that SoV and C3V are not allowed in the main event or other events unless specifically stated?

I like that event list. I think I like the new Main Event a little better. Still kind of a matchup roulette, but at least you're trying to make an army that's consistently mediocre instead of good on day 1 and bad on day 2. In theory it's different, but I'm not sure it changes army decisions that substantially. I.e. it doesn't make it any easier to know what figures to bring to keep yourself from getting screwed by a bad matchup.

That is a correct assumption. The last two years there has been an unofficial VC tourney during Open Play. @MegaSilver usually organizes it.

Total. Trying to stop this event from going to time. It's kind of like heroes only team tourney but you can fit a squad or two in.
