I've felt these guys were too strong as well. Aquaman has 5 defense and Mera 4. Knocking these guys to 4 seems reasonable to me for a start.

If Mera is reasonably close she's already boosting their defense by 1. This faction has a lot of defense boost.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
