Re: C3G Procedures
No problem midge. I usually type up my playtests in Microsoft Word, but everyone has their own ways.
Like Superheroes and Comics?

Re: C3G Procedures
OP updated to reflect that including a character bio in an LD is now optional.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Procedures
Updated the expectations for LDs in the Final Editing phase of design work based on a vote that closed today. Also linked this thread in my signature so it's easier to find when we want to remember how things are supposed to work around here.

Re: C3G Procedures
Yeah, I'm hoping that the update to my sig is helpful for us to easily reference this as needed.

Re: C3G Procedures
Several updates to the procedures around here that are in effect moving forward:
New design threads can be started and threads can be taken off hold only when a designer has an open slot for that design. We have decided to close down the Map and Terrain Depts and incorporate those designs into our regular process. This helps eliminate some of the overhead of the group and should help us maintain greater consistency across the whole project. There is no longer a "breathing period" for designs. You can edit the SP as needed throughout the design phase. Please do not make major changes based on a single person's feedback but feel free to make small tweaks as needed. You can propose to move to initial playtesting 48 hours after the design thread was created if everything is in order. You no longer earn any points for doing your own initial/playtesting your own designs or providing mini photos or card art there. This is a rule for everyone, moving your own design through the process is reward enough and you shouldn't be able to earn back your points just by contributing to your own LD. Along with the previous change, Allies are automatically signed up to run the first public playtest on their designs much like Heroes/Legends/Sidekicks are expected to run their own initials. We have also eliminated the half price rule for DOs, and changed it to be half price designs for non-draftable designs. (i.e. maps, battlefield DOs and Glyphs) Any draftable design requires the same level of work to make sure the point totals are correct so providing a discount for some of them creates more work for the system as a whole. |
