Really liking the current design.

I think you want like 'until the start of your next Player Turn' for Earth and Water. So that way it doesn't shut off if you reveal an OM for some other reason, or keep the stat addition/subtraction for ages because your OMs got removed or what not.

I have no specific point value in mind, but low 200s seemed appropriate to me.

Aerial Advantage would be cool, but I think we'd be pushing card space, and Stealth Flying is more important mechanically and thematically IMO. Aerial Advantage only really helps for defense since Aang will be using his special attack nearly all the time.

For the class, I do think Avatar is the way to go. That gives us an easy hook for future Gaang designs. Bender is a good suggestion, but it would allow for cross-pollination of ATLA heroes and villains who are benders. Avatar can help keep those pools separate. I could see Ozai as a Conqueror and Azula as an Enforcer, for example.

Does 220 seem like a good starting point? Lack of synergies might take him lower, but his special attack is pretty solid.

I'm getting about 205 on the calculator, but the special attack is tough since it's so many things rolled into one.

My feeling is Aang should be higher in points. If the avatar is at 220, what does that leave for the most powerful benders?

I'd really only put Ozai, Azula, or Sparky Sparky Boom Man Combustion Man as comparable in point value, personally. Ultimately, Aang is still a 12 year old kid who finds himself in over his head on multiple occasions.

I'd agree with this. Feels like trying to capture early Aang in terms of Avatar power level, but he's got the general bending access of his more near full-fledged self. Just feels off to me.

Aang in training, yes. Aang as Avatar, no.

What changes would you guys recommend, and what point value do you think he should be? Hard to adjust stuff when your only feedback is that it doesn't feel right. (Also, minor point, but Aang was always the Avatar, it's not something he becomes later in life or anything. Each Avatar is reincarnated as the next Avatar.)

I feel like his special attack is pretty brutal with the various combos you can do (the once per game quadruple attack especially!), so I'd hesitate to raise that attack to 5. Defense of 6 (bumped to 8 if Aang uses his earth bending for a shield) is already pretty stacked. Could raise life to 5, but again, he's just a kid, so I feel that's thematically off.

Take my opinions with a grain of salt since I really don't care at all about this property, but I HAVE seen a bit of the show (My brothers were hugely into it when it was airing).

Aang himself is an immature child. No matter how much power he possesses, he doesn't have full control, and the entire series is him just learning how to use powers since he just doesn't know. So while he should be more powerful than others in the show, I don't think he should be a monster.

Also we're adapting this to C3G, along with costs. 220 is already higher than all of our extremely skilled martial artists and vigilantes, and most lower end mutants. In the show, these people can use a single element, just like Iceman (150) and Pyro (135?). And Avalanche (145).... and.... Whirlwind? (190). So he's stronger than any of them already. I don't really see him, even using all 4 at once, being stronger than most of our other superheroes. Power level wise looking at the show compared to others, I just don't think he should be all that high.

TLDR I think 220 is fine.
