You should settle on some power names though. |

Re: The Book Of Sgt. Rock (Vote for Initial)
I still prefer 4 life with battle hardened. Conan is Conan. He’s in a class of his own so I don’t think that’s a good comparison.

Re: The Book Of Sgt. Rock (Vote for Initial)
I really don't understand all the 5 life BH hate here. Like someone else said you are basically just getting a 3 life figure at 4 life and that feels wrong. Also makes it more likely for him to get one shotted which also feels wrong.

A 3 life figure that you have to hit one wound at a time is really good. Luke Cage and Brit can still whiff a defense roll while this power is always active |

Re: The Book Of Sgt. Rock (Vote for Initial)
yea, though I agree with YK you should choose one of the power names before too long. I prefer the second of each choice but it doesn't really matter to me.
I have no opinion on 4 vs 5 life with battle hardened. We can just watch how powerful it feels in playtesting. I'd take defense down to 3 before reducing the life personally, but I'm cool with it hitting testing as-is. |

Re: The Book Of Sgt. Rock (Vote for Initial)
The 1W at a time from BH doesn't kick in until he takes a W, and he can't self W for any kind of benefit, so you either deal exactly 1W to him with one of your other figures powers or play his straight up and just see how many W's he takes when he first gets hit. Superman punches him and he could easily be taking 3W in the first hit. Needs the 5th life IMO for BH to be effective.

Re: The Book Of Sgt. Rock (Vote for Initial)
My point is that Luke Cage can also whiff in defense, so it seems that both powers are very similar usefulness wise. Statistically speaking I’m sure one is slightly better, but he still feels too similar to Cage for me right now.
I’m fine with the power, or with 5 life. But both together for a normal human doesn’t make thematic sense when compared to Cage. |

Re: The Book Of Sgt. Rock (Vote for Initial)
But it’s really not uncommon for a 4 Def figure to take 2 or 3 wounds in a single attack. That leaves him still good, but not nearly as good as Cage at 5 Life/5 Def. You can bring your own auto-wounder to inflict that single wound, but then you have to (A) draft around that idead, and (B) waste your own time doing it.
