I watched Conan the Barbarian again on Netflix last night. I think I'll be watching a lot of movies and reading this week since I hurt my back and can't go to work till next Monday. So sad for me.

I watched The Equalizer last night. I thought it was a pretty good move. I remember watching the tv show back in the day and I liked it quite a bit. I don't know if there will be a squeal of not but they ended the movie as if there may be one. I'm glad he didn't just go blow everyone away like most action movies and that there was a lot of variety in how he took out the bad guys. All in all I think it was a pretty good show. Now what shall I watch next?

Odd Thomas was pretty interesting.

Certainly one of the best newer movies I have seen.

Just watched Time Piece(1965). 9 minute short by Jim Henson. What a creative mind.

Thanks for the suggestions. Odd Thomas was a good movie. I own it on dvd. I just watched the remake of Robocop and I must say I was impressed.

They had an hour special on Jim Henson on PBS last night, and that piece was mentioned as "if hou want to know who he was."

EDIT: chas , yep I watched it last night. Also there was a special on Walt Disney.
I am a big PBS guy. My local station was going in and out for about two months and it was torture. All good now.

I enjoyed the new Robocop also which surprised me. I had low expectations which was a good thing.

What kind of movies do you like? I tend to look for ones most folks have never heard about which usually works out nice for suggestions.
I am not a big fan of horror(they still give me nightmares) so I cannot help you there.

I have been contemplating putting together my top 100 just for my own reference.

I think the best movie ever made is The Red Balloon(1956). I believe it is on youtube.

My favorite animated feature is Rkik-Tiki-Tavi(1975)(a part of The Jungle Book, I would love to see this remade, it may also be on youtube), The Hobbit(1977) and The Iron Giant(1999).
