Card Update!!!

The heroes have voted to update Lockheed's card such that his bonding originates on the Companion's card instead of his card. This way the OM's are placed in a safer place. Here is the updated power text.

MUTANT PROTECTOR'S PET
At the beginning of the game, you may choose one Unique Mutant Protector you control to be Lockheed’s Companion. After revealing an Order Marker on his Companion's card and taking a turn with it, you may take a turn with Lockheed. If you do, you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control.

Lockheed's thread has been updated and future testing with this card should be played accordingly, but the card has not been updated as of today. It will be updated soon though for those who want to print out a new card. When that happened the thread will be bumped with an announcement reflecting the new card. Thanks for your patience.

MUTANT MULTIVERSE



When worlds collide, strange bedfellows are encountered. Unlikely heroes face new threats and what we thought we knew may only be a myth! What will we encounter as the multiverse converges? Perhaps a new threat the X-Men must stand against or maybe, they must fight themselves to protect this planet they love so dearly! Stay tuned to find out!



BOOSTER 1 | CANCELLING THE APOCALYPSE
Sabretooth (AoA)
Colossus (AoA)
Shadowcat (AoA)
Iceman (AoA)
Magneto (AoA)

Hailing from a world ravaged by war, these notable Mutants are stepping up to cancel the Apocalypse. Leading the rebellion we have Magneto (AoA) encouraging the X-Men to stand together. Backing him up is Colossus (AoA) with his Careless Haste and Shadowcat (AoA) Phasing in like a Ghost Assassin! Iceman (AoA) zooming along leaves a Vapor Trail behind as Sabretooth (AOA) guards them all with his Protective Instinct. Can they succeed? Come find out!



BOOSTER 2 | ACROSS THE MULTIVERSE
Jean Grey (AoA)
Cyclops (AoA)
Spider-Man (House of M)
Juggernaut (Charles Xavier)

When possibilities collide strange realities spring up. In these strange realities we encounter familiar names though these are not the heroes we know and love. Jean Grey (AoA) feels what her teammates feel and is constantly making it necessary for Cyclops (AoA) to embark on a Rescue Mission. Swinging in to pass for a Mutant is Spider-Man (House of M) while Charles Xavier has become the Unstoppable Force that is the Juggernaut! What havoc will they raise? What catastrophes can they thwart? Only time will tell!

Glyph of Weather: Thunderstorm
Glyph of Weather: Tornado

In times of turmoil legacies rise. Some are old names and others are newer. Storm (II) has garnered mastery over the atmosphere and can call forth or quiet great tempests. The Street Rat Gambit (II) terrorizes the streets with his Sleight of Hand while Scarlet Witch (II) creates a Twisted Reality! Finally, but by no means least, we have an old name with a new face! Laura Kinney has taken on the mantle of the Wolverine and can be seen flipping out into a Protective Rage as she flits about the battlefield, an adamantine blur of acrobatics! What new legends will these legacies create!

Psychic Projection
Psyche
Amahl Farouk
Shadow King

Astral Plane Battlefield Rules

Powerful Telepaths use Psychic Projections to explore the irreal realm of dreams, attacking the vulnerable Psyches of their victims via the Astral Plane. Perhaps the most terrifying offender of all is Amahl Farouk, whose projection rules over the plane as Shadow King!

Always happy to see another Spider-Man but Arkham knocked it out of the park with these AoA designs. Inspired me to read the AoA storyline which felt so 90s reading it now.

Lots of fun new combinations here. Some of my favorites are the new Sabretooth and Collossus. Sabertooth and Wild Child (that is already released) are especially fun together

Storm (II) is probably my favorite of the stuff I didn't LD. Weather Glyphs might be my favorite type of glyph now!

Shadow King has definitely been a long time coming. The Astral Plane stuff is a bit wild, but I think it's actually pretty smooth to play once you get the basics down. I hope y'all enjoy what we did there.
