If you would like one, send me a PM & I can order it for you. Postage is around AUD$10 & the banner itself is about AUD$10. When I ordered 2 for myself the postage didn't increase for the 2nd one. So buying multiples is probably the best.

Remember that is in Australian dollars. With postage that is about USD$14 for one & USD$21 for two.

VIRTUALSCAPE SETUP:

1. Download the zip file.
2. Unzip it or open it & copy the files directly as per below.
3. Copy the Personal folder to your \Virtualscape_English_1070\Images\ folder.
   
4. Make a copy or your VirtualScape.ini file in your \Virtualscape_English_1070\ folder. You can just add a ".bak" to the end of the filename.
5. Copy VirtualScape.ini file to your \Virtualscape_English_1070\ folder.
   
6. IMPORTANT: If you already have "personal" tiles in VS:

   • Open the VirtualScape.ini file you just copied, in a text editor (notepad is fine).
   • Locate the line "[TilePerso]" and copy all lines below it that begin with "Tile". The last line should be "Tile14=false".
   • Paste these lines into your original VirtualScape.ini file in the same "[TilePerso]" section after the last line that begins with "Tile".
   • Change the pasted lines so that the Tile number continues on after where your previous personal tiles ended.
   • Delete the copied VirtualScape.ini file & restore your original.

7. Copy MAP_CosmicSpace.hsc file to where ever you keep your Virtualscape map files.
   
8. Launch Virtualscape & load the MAP_CosmicSpace.hsc file ensure it looks like the below image.

Fun! Not sure on rules, but maybe have terrain rule that you wound after each round (ala Lava Field) and reduced movement (ala Heavy Snow); but related equipment glyph of gas mask/rocket pack (ala Star-Lord's helmet/armor) that ignores these rules and that everyone starts out with in most scenarios, but can be stolen/dropped/handed-off as per normal equipment glyph rules. I am sure Super-strength can also be worked in to mitigate damage/hindrance of Cosmic Space.

Range/sighting is probably the most difficult rule to work out. I think even though move can be restricted in Cosmic Space, maybe range should be increased to compensate as arrows and bullets go infinite distance in space. Maybe rules are to half your move (rounded down) but double your normal range if more than 1. Melee units will be hampered with this however.

Anyway looking forward to this. I would also say that maybe the MtG:AotP Innistrad mats can be an alternative to this as they are easier to obtain for a lot of people.

The three rules I'm liking so far (I need to refine the wording) are:

1. At the end of each round, any figure on a Cosmic Space rolls one unblockable attack die for damage. If the figure has Super Strength it takes a wound on a blank instead of a skull.

2. When a non-flying figure enters a Cosmic Space they can only move in a straight line and must continue moving in this manner until they either use all of their available movement or until they move onto a space of a different terrain type.

3. Pull of Gravity: Figures (including DOs) and non-fixed terrain (such as asteroids and comets) that occupy or are on top of Cosmic Spaces at the end of the round must move two spaces towards the closest fixed terrain, ending that movement as close to that fixed terrain as possible, or move one space towards the closest fixed terrain if the figure or terrain being moved is larger than two hexes.

I imagine we can find a company in the US that would be willing to print to order these, it would be cheaper on shipping.

Left brings up some interesting points, but I don't think our ranged attacks have ever been limited by bullet drop. Range 5 or 7 for a pistol or rifle has always been more of a measure of accuracy IMO.

For Pull of Gravity, it would be more accurate and easier to incorporate if you just had to pick an edge of the map at the start of the game and all non-anchored items move towards it. That would represent the fact that the nearest massive gravitational pull object like a planet, moon, or star is in that direction from the battle, and all objects are being pulled that way as a result. You could then have randomly generated single or double hex rock/snow tiles appear on the opposite edge of the map during game play. Comets and Asteroids would thus be moving across the battle field, some moving off the map while new ones continue to appear.

I could see doing that, but choosing only one edge would disadvantage one army over the other as they tried to position themselves towards theoretical central high points.

If start zone 1 is on the west edge of the map, and start zone 2 is on the east side of the map, then for game balance the gravity pull should go from either north to south or south to north.

A four player game where each start zone on a different edge would certainly lead to a different strategy for each team. If gravity is moving towards your start zone, then maybe take a bunch of engagement strike types, or build a defensive pod. If gravity is pushing your start zone forward, then draft a bunch of slower moving units and that liability is suddenly been overcome.

I suppose the same could be true for 2 player games if you wanted to allow for that kind of gravity flow. You would just need to establish who gets what start zone and where the gravity is moving toward before armies are drafted.
