Yeah I tied your method for awhile but the edges seems to not hold up well in my house which lead me to explore other options. I may just need to use your idea for the "official" version and just do some thin wood for personal use. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
