Sounds good. I've just been kind of skimming here lately and I noticed today that there was a push so I thought I'd offer. Letting the court get done first makes more sense.

Not sure if I'll be able to get any testing done before the Con, but if I do I'll work on either these guys or the Court of Owls. Are we to a point yet where we can just test them together to see how they feel?

I think getting at least one more test on the Court alone would be good. I always feel weird throwing something right into another test with only one person's results. Someone could have a vastly different experience with them than I did.

Ok, so we're moving these into playtesting now. But with the idea that if you test them, also test the court.

Moloids choose Doom as their Ruler. Court of Owls put three Electrum each on Talon Blue and Talon Red.
Round 1: Initiative Court of Owls. Highlights: Both sides advance. Doom takes out a Court of Owl member and Talon Blue falls into the Elaborate Pit Trap, but ignores the wound. Doom one-shots Talon Blue.

Round 2: Talon Blue is resurrected. Talons Orange, and Purple go on their cards. Initiative Doom. Highlights: Talon Yellow KO’s a Moloid. Doom puts two wounds on Talon Red and Mystic Power Drains him, but can’t finish him. A Talon fails to wound Doom, despite having the defense subtraction. Doom’s Unstoppable Resilience saves him from a whiff against a Court Member. Moloids KO another Court Member. Unstoppable Resilience saves Doom again.
Round 3: Initiative Doom. Highlights: Doom KO’s Talon Red. Then Doom Mystic Power Drains Talon Yellow and hits him for a wound. Court of Owl kills a Moloid. Doom KO’s Talon Yellow. Moloids KO a Court Member. Talon Blue and the Court both take out a Moloid. Doom KO’s a fourth Court of Owls Member. The Moloids fail to finish them off.
Round 4: Talons Purple and Orange drop back and Red resurrects. Initiative Doom. Doom and the Moloids KO the last Court Members, stealing their OM1. Doom puts two wounds on Talon Orange, Mystic Power Drains him, then KO’s him. Moloids swarm, but are toothless. Talon Orange KO’s a Moloid.
Round 5: Initiative Doom. He puts one wound on Talon Blue. Talon Blue finally hits Doom for one wound. Doom KO’s Talon Blue. Moloids put a wound on Talon Orange. Talon Orange KO’s a Moloid. Doom KO’s Talon Red, who had OM3. Moloids finish Talon Orange.

Unit Summary: Unstoppable Resilience keeps the Talons around for a while, but their 3 Life, and single attack of 4 per Order Marker makes them feel very lackluster. They spent most of their time trying to kill Doctor Doom, who just slowly steamrolled them.

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): KO’ed (4) Moloids and put (1) wound on Doctor Doom.
• NIGHT OF OWLS: Used to stack Assassins at the start of Round 2 in order to try to ambush Doom. Ended up feeling more risk (having figures off the battlefield) than reward.
• ASSASSINATION TACTICS: Had a little bit of impact, as it was almost always on due to high levels of engagement. Not world breaking at all.
• UNSTOPPABLE RESILIENCE: Prevented countless wounds and attacks (Moloid attacks I mostly just didn’t roll defense for because of this).
• Damage Taken: All Talons KO’ed, with two of them resurrected but KO’ed again.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Doctor Doom with 5/6 Life, 8/14 Moloids, all 3 Doombots with Full Life, and Moleman with Full Life win.

Round 1: Initiative Court of Owls. Highlights: Ninja and Assassins advance while the Judges slowly move forward as a masse, then teleport at the end of the round to places where they can menace key figures.
Round 2: Red Talon drops into the thick of things. Initiative Dark Judges. They all advance, engaging enemies. Mortis decays a Ninja, Death KO’s a Court Member, and Fear KO’s a Ninja. Talon Blue and the Hand can’t touch Judge Fire. Judges have a terrible follow up and do nothing. Elite League Assassins put three wounds on Judge Fear. Hand put one on Judge Fear and two on Judge Death. Judge Death KO’s a Court Member. Judge Fire (for the second turn in a row) failed to hit four targets with his fire (though Unstoppable Resilience was part of this). Judge Fire KO’s Talon Blue. Red Talon fails to hit Judge Fire. The Hand Ninja hit Judge Fire for two wounds.
Round 3: Talon Blue is resurrected. Initiative Court of Owls. Talon Red and the Hand fail to hit Judge Fire. Judge Death and Judge Fire combine to purge the land of the remaining Court of Owls Members. Elite League Assassins do nothing. Hand KO Judge Fear, but can’t hit Fire. Judges fail to do anything. Talon Red and the Hand each put a wound on Judge Fire. Judges fail to do anything. Death and Mortis teleport to reposition.
Round 4: Initiative Court of Owls. Talon Red finishes Judge Fire. Hand can only manage a wound on Judge Death. Judge Death whiffs his attack. Elite League Assassins put a wound on Judge Mortis. Hand can’t follow up. Judge Death hits Talon Blue for a wound. Elite League Assassins kill Judge Mortis. Hand kill Death.

Unit Summary: The Talons were OK at standing around and soaking up attacks that would’ve been better directed towards Hand Ninja or Elite League Assassins. The Judges were solid here, but didn’t roll well enough to keep up with the Ninja/Assassin tradition. The Talons felt like a big afterthought here, significantly weaker than the 10 point more Elite League Assassins.

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): Talon Red inflicted (2) wounds on (Judge Fire (2))
• NIGHT OF OWLS: Used early to hold Talon Red in reserve and then place him back after the Dark Judge ambush.
• ASSASSINATION TACTICS: Helpful, but unspectacular.
• UNSTOPPABLE RESILIENCE: Useful for ignoring auto-wound powers.
• Damage Taken: Talon Blue dies in Round 2 and is brought back for Round 3.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): 4/6 Hand Ninja, full Life Talon Red, 2/3 Life Talon Blue, and 3/3 Elite League Assassins win.
