When it says you can cling a figure to a terrain piece, what exactly is that defined as? Like an actual part of the board? Or do you just mean trees and such?

If I make a board using only the big 20-something hexes, the game plays totally different than if I use just singles then.

I'm sorry I'm still a bit confused (I've not ever played Galactus either). If the map is 100% flat, does that mean the chosen figures will "snap" over to the edge of a new piece? Which means the game will play totally differently if I use the huge terrain pieces or an entire map of single-hexers?
Or does it mean terrain that's not flush with the rest of the map (elevation)? |
