Thanks Arch. Glad you like them. I was going to make them more points but went the route of giving them a little break with them being unique. I was starting a work up with Director Krennic in the Inner Sanctum with some similar ideas to this. I wanted to give them a little more staying power at 4 defense and give them Imperial Marksmanship. What is neat is that they pick a target they are going after and the enemy can choose to hide them or play them after the token is placed. Its a fun little strategic thing that's thematic with them in the movie.

HoSS Compatible Destructible Objects
I made up some neat Destructible Gun Emplacements to go with the HoSS Anti Infantry Battery and the Bacta Tank, along with an adjustment to the Container and Chemical Cannister cards bringing them to 1 life so you would only need one card of each on the table for the cargo. First up:
Destructible Object E-WEB Heavy Blaster
This uses the basics from the HoSS Imperial E-Web Gunner except that you don't draft him, you can just man this on the battlefield. I kept it as true to the original gunner card to keep the flavor. I did make this where characters can use special abilities that can move this gun, such as force pushing force users.

Next up is the Destructible Object Atgar Cannon
Again I used the card base of the HoSS Rebel Atgar Cannon card. This one is a Man-able turret.

These next two are just simple tweaks on the HoSS DO Container and the HoSS DO Chemical Cannister. Only changes are 1 increase on defense on the container, and reducing both to 1 life to eliminate tons of card doubles on the table.

The more I think about it the more I feel we could switch Rex's Rally and Cody's suppressive fire. I have two reasons for this.

1. I feel like as a Marshal Commander Cody would be better suited to mix units into a squad.

2. Rex is more likely to jetpack up and lay down some cover fire so his guys could move up. Could reduce the number he can move since he gets two chances to work with his double attack.

thoughts?


EDit: I have no objections to your reducing these smaller DOs to one life.

Do you think there is a point cost change in order for the rex cody change up? I think changing the them up works well and agree with you, it just lets the suppressive fire activate twice with Rex's double attack.
EDIT: After looking it over, I think that Rex should keep his stats but take a point increase. I bumped him up to 120. Getting to give suppressive fire twice is pretty good. I don't think it will overpower the clones though. Cody will also take a 10 pt hike as well because the Rally ability is better than the Suppressive fire ability only activating once.

EDIT 2: @japes , here are the updated Cody and Rex Cards




I'm almost thinking that when Cody's Rally goes off, we should allow up to 4 figures to activate instead of 3. With it being a once a round deal, it might be more justified of having him rally a little before end game.

I'm going to be making some Starcraft Customs based off of characters from the Starcraft Computer Video Games made by Blizzard. I wanted to go with somewhat a sci fi them, so I modified the HoSS Card Blanks into the 3 factions of the Game. Protoss, Terran, and Zerg.
I use the Agency FB Bold text on my cards to resemble HoSS cards. If any of you guys can use these as well feel free. I have already 3d printed me an army of Terran Marines, with Jim Raynor, Tychus, a bunch of Protoss Zealots and an Artanis, along with 4 siege tanks. 2 in regular mode, 2 in siege mode. Anywho, here are the cardblanks. Enjoy.

To follow up with my Card Blanks, here is my first Starcraft Card.
Terran Marine

With this guy I just wanted to reflect the theme of the game where you get out Terran Marines fairly quickly at the start of the game, give them a little boost on round one to get into position. Then after they get to fighting they can use their stimpacks to get more attacks at the 50% price of possibly dying. Hope you guys enjoy these as much as I do. As always, any feed back is welcome and appreciated.

EDIT: @japes , what did you think of those additional gun turret DO's? Those are going to be fun.

I think you could temper the Rex increase by changing the power a bit. instead of allowing 3 figures to activate twice you could do two figures per suppressive fire.

I also love the idea of Cody getting to activate an extra squad member. It makes it useful even when you don't need to mix squads. He's a great leader so it's thematic that he'd up the efficiency of a squad. Great call.

The limit to 2 clones per suppressive fire attack for a total of 4 is a good compromise. I still think 120 is a decent start for rex with his suppressive fire. I like the bump to 4 clones for codys rally.

@japes , I got the updates in here and in the OP for these two guys. I went ahead and put cody to allowing 4 clone squad figures have a go with his rally. I did a little bit of a twist on the suppressive fire ability for rex that I think would work well and be even more thematic. It wouldn't work if he doesn't roll a skull, but he has a 50% chance on each die to bring one more guy up to 4 if he's on height and rolls all skulls. The law of averages say he will only get 2. But has a chance to only get one to three unless on height, then maybe 4. Which makes sense, because from a height advantage he would have a better chance of laying down fire. I really like the twist, what do you think?

EDIT: after a little more playing with Darth Sidious, I replaced his Manipulate the Weak ability.(Similar to Jedi Mind Trick on old OBI) With Master Manipulator. Which allows him to manipulate the opponents characters within 8 spaces of him. I also threw in a small clause that requires him to roll a 20 against force users instead of the regular 17 or higher.

I made this card of the Viceroy to go with the HoSS B1 Battledroids, that are almost finished. Also, made a couple of thematic cards that use my neimodian soldier figures in a thematic way. I always thought the mini im using for the brute was too big for the squad.
