Figure. No hex limit. In the GenCon rules, you can have more than 24 hexes and you just bring extra spaces to add on to the back of the start zone.

I had a great day today everyone! It was nice to see old friends and meet some new ones. I hope y'all enjoyed it as well. A heads up to anyone who is interested, I am going to California for about a week but I will be back in the area from August 3rd to August 7th (tentatively). So if anyone wants to get together for a few more games for old times sake let me know.
