Most of my collection is bought from T&T, with the occasional CSI supplement. I usually only bother to check CSI's prices when I'm thinking of splurging on a relatively pricey figure. CSI does beat T&T's prices occasionally, but T&T is definitely better on the whole.

What's your favorite counter to Amazo? If there is any

Graviton and War Machine.

Graviton counters everything though - as long as it's not Tiny, Large or Huge.
Never played against Amazo, or with him, but whenever I'm going up against a big hitter/Event Hero, it's honestly hard to go wrong with Gorgon - Precognitive Strike + Godkiller SA is terrifying. Might not bring his target down, but he'll certainly punch above his weight when it comes to softening them up.

Still don't have Amazo, though he does look fun. Any ideas how I could get a figure for him that looks more like the way he did from the Justice League cartoons? I thought he was a great character there and I'd love to play his card, but wanting him to look and feel like the character from the cartoons (since I liked that version of him so much) is what's held me back from getting him.

Take one of the Adaptoid figures (the ones used for Green Lantern constructs and Orange Lantern Stolen ID constructs and paint him grey...that's actually a great idea and I wish I had thought of that before I bought the figure since I have a few Adaptoid figures. I made Black Lanterns out of a few.

Graviton War Machine combo is nasty, seems slightly hard to pull of since Graviton would have to be adjacent to Amazo because of his Intagability. Still nasty though! and Gorgon is such a scary figure! Nice

Adaptoids do make good proxies for DCAU Amazo, though the head-shape is off and the ones I've seen don't quite have his physique. Fitting, since DCAU Amazo is probably more an adaptation of comic Super-Adaptoid than comic Amazo.

That could work (I never liked how utterly dull and stilted the Super Adaptoid figure is), though I'd like to see if I can get that lovely featureless, triangular face anywhere, and the pose doesn't seem fitting for his character.

That's very true now that you point it out.



Also since Super Adaptoid came out in comics about 6 years after Amazo so that means I have about 5 more years to finish up Super Adaptoid...

Anyone else up to date through last nights episode of The Gifted on Fox?

I'm not really familiar with the Cuckoo's outside of the cards made for C3G (which I never printed out), so I was surprised by their reveal in the show. Did others pick up on all the hints prior to the reveal? Is there a reason why there were only 3 of them last night, should we expect to see the other 2 show up sometime soon? I see in their C3G bio it says, "originally created to be weapons powerful enough to kill every mutant by combining their telepathic abilities." That seems to line up with what the Trask dude said after studying how the brother/sister combined powers work. He learned how to combine powers from them and can now 'solve' the mutant problem for good. So I'm guessing (in the show at least), he is the one who initially cloned them and will clone two more as the show progresses or already cloned the other two but they just were not there at the time of the rescue.
