Results:
Huge win for the X-Men. Shows that in a core C3G army like the FF, or Mutants, which have lock-down characters, Spidey quickly becomes useless. My army didn’t have any special attacks, which really hurt them, as Blob was basically ruining any chance the Undead had. ZSM’s bite on Jean was 1 out of the 7 wounds I managed to inflict in 7 rounds though, so he was one of the better pieces of my army.

Results:
Lost Dracula Round 1 Turn 3, but he came back at the start of the next turn. Felt very back and forth, and came down to the wire. I do see that I failed to heal Dracula twice, R3T2 and R3T3, so he would not have died when he did the second time. It would have resulted in a bigger win for my team, but only by a couple life on Dracula, if Nightwing hadn’t managed to kill him with those two extra life.
Always felt like Zombie SM could die, but he managed to pull it back with some lucky consistent unblockables, landing 11 out of 16!

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
Draft wise, he fits into any army, since you don’t need to take any turns with him to be effective. Balance-wise he is vulnerable to heavy hitters, autowounders, and healers and completely useless against a lockdown unit. As far as cost goes, he can definitely go up. 220 would allow Drac, Silver Banshee and Zombie Spider-Man for 1000 which is a solid army, but honestly, he probably fits closer to 230. Although Human Torch is 225 so somewhere between 220-30. Human Torch at least has range and higher mobility. Fitting ZSM into Undead armies is kind of tough because the Undead leaders are so expensive, but he really doesn’t need any Undead synergies to work. I don’t want Dracula’s possibly too-high cost to drive Spidey’s cost too low as a counterbalance.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT:
Super fun, and puts some serious pressure on the opponent. Kind of a glass cannon, which is appropriate for Spidey. Probably going to be one of the most commonly drafted units for competitive play.
Just Like Flies should not heal him when he bites Androids and Constructs, and possibly other Undead.

I’m gonna drop his defense to 3 and raise his cost to 230 and propose we move to final editing.

Like many of our healing factor characters, you’ll need to focus on Zombie Spidey to take him out, unlike Jason though once he’s out, he’s out.

Looking at my PSD file to update the card, I'm gonna drop Swing Line back down to 2 as I had it there. It will make him slower and help him feel less threatening.

Actually it fit just fine so I made it so he doesn't heal off Androids, Constructs and Undead.
