Heroscape Demo at Gamerz on southside of Indy on 01/24

I apologize for my recent absence but during the autumn I'm afraid that I was caught up in some real life house remodeling and moving situations.

Tenatively there will be a heroscape demo at Gamerz, located on the southside of Indianapolis, at 1Pm on 01/24/09. I'm working with the proprietor on this.

Tenatively the armies will be 500 points. Army unit placement is still being decided on. Assistance and advice to make this a success would be appreciated.

Hey Fenris! Thanks for hosting an event. I first heard about Gamerz a few weeks ago...haven't been yet but it looks like a great place to play.

As of now count me in + 1 or 2 more.

I may be able to make it up and hang out and play. Maybe I can bring my son as well. If I can make it, I'll bring a map or two. That will allow you to use yours for demos to prospective players if we get any.

Thank you for the news. I appreciate those who can make it. If you could bring landscape it would be appreciated. I think that I've got enough for one-two maps.

From speaking with Tim Ewick, the owner of Gamerz, he said that he had spoken to five-six potential players. And he has asked them to bring landscapes and armies. So hopefully, we'll be covered.

Fenris, how long do you plan on hanging out Saturday?

I have something going on that starts at 10 that morning, and could last anywhere from 1 PM to 5 or 6. I'm going to try to make it if I can, but don't want to show up when everyone is leaving.

Welp officially it starts at 1PM and goes on until roughly 5-6PM. A lot of it depends on the rounds. With 500 pt armies, 26 spaces, and hopefully five-six maps. I'm thinking roughly one hour per battle.

And hopefully we might get around 7-10 players, between the response here, and what Tim Ewick (Gamerz owner) told me.

If you can make it, it would be appreciated. I'm going to get there between 10-10:30AM to work on maps. Again, any assistance and advice would be appreciated.
