Some great cards, and also Leech.

Omega Red can be pretty nasty, but you have to keep him active to get full value out of him. He has beefy enough stats for a 300 pointer and the healing is nice. I feel like I've seen him really pay the price for Death Factor and passivity, though. He's solid, but Wolverine is better for less. 3/B+

Lady Deathstrike is a fun Assassin hero to run with Hand Ninja, as they don't mind her bogarting the "X" marker and they can help screen her from range while she runs around and assassinates figures. Carrying a wound or two on her isn't bad as it can give you auto wounds on top of her nasty claws. She's easier to finish off than Omega Red, but possibly a more reliable offensive force. 3/A-

Leech - The definition of match up dependent. An A+ pain in the butt against Mutants and an F- worthless pile against everyone else. Either way, one of the players isn't having any fun, which means he fails for me regardless. 1/F

X-23 - mini Wolverine for 60 points left but with some potential drawbacks. Keep her away from your own figures if you can and try to get her into engagement with the enemy as soon as possible to avoid wasting turns. Figure movers like Angel and Nightcrawler are really useful to her. There's some degree of difficulty here, but the payoff is solid. 3/A-

Marrow - She has the potential to be nasty with her special powers, but mediocre attack and defense stats at 220 points keeps her in check. Run her with a stat booster if you can to unlock some of that. 3/B

Heh, this is like the “competitively abusable” booster.

Sage does lots of crap. Most of it was nerfed from being super overpowered during various reevaluations. If some of the abusive stuff still exists, I don't know. Not one I see used often. I imagine the best use for her is to attack boost someone like Cable or Wolverine in a Mutant build. Throw in like Phoenix or Psylocke or Magneto II to use that d20. 4/A-

For Selene 6 Life, 5 Defense, and Magical Defense is enough to be a terror by itself. Add in auto wounding and (unreliable) healing and you have a monster. The growth of VDOs in the game made her more valuable in the meta. 4/A+

Mastermind used to be gross. After reevals, he's just OK. Good in a Gundam with a bonding partner. I also like to use him with Astral Plane stuff. 3/B+

Black King felt fairly limited to a big attack boost or two before. There's some stuff coming down the pike that potentially makes him scarier. He's OK overall. 3/B

Reverend Stryker just wants to surrounded by civilians. Even with his attack boost, though, swarms of them aren't hitting very hard. 2/C+

Sage and a bunch of Multiple Mans is fun but not super competitive.
Plays like a classic army.
