I've seen random army assignments end up with some pretty off-kilter results (and have had the good fortune to end up on the right side of the scales ), which is why I encouraged a set opening round to establish at least a modicum of balance.
I think that 3/2 is the safest (for lack of a better word) way to run a one day RTW event, but the potential for chaos that random or semi-random might result in is fun to try to balance for as well. |
