Line of sight through non-hex spot

How to phrase this...

When fighting near the edge of a map occasionally line of sight goes off the board and over the table. Does the edge of the map count as a LOS blocker?

No, you can sight through dead spaces but you have to count range around actual tiles.

Ahh...hmm.. interesting. Thanks Velenne. I noticed you used caves in one of your campaigns, and that made me hope that the designers will add Cave Rules.

My friend and I are going to be trying your campaign soon. Looks interesting. Just with all these new figs coming out we've been busy with elf-proxy.

The map designer gets to give map-specific rules as well. Presumably in a cave the map rule would be that you cannot target through off-map voids.

Good point. Some official cave terrain would be pretty awesome. Would be tough to make official, but I'm sure the designers could come up with something.
